I'm hoping to pick up where i left off. Pleasantly suprised by our players. I set out what i thought were fairly tough requirements to get into the squad before i started the update, only expecting around 35 players to pass the mark. Last count i had 53 and i'm not finished getting player updates yet.

I would but it's a bit awkward. There are some players i like who are specialists in that they might have fantastic striking or technique but arent so quick. I can raise the pace level and lose 5 strikers but one of them might be worth keeping because of other skills.

you can say ATT needs to have pace+tech+striking 40+ and it covers anomalies like that...

but requires a manager to count, that may rule some striker candidates out ;)

I should step out of our private forum for a moment.
Bulgaria tomorrow. They're a good well organised team, not quite at our level in terms of players but they'll be a test. We've got quite a few of of main players missing and some others are now getting too old so the team tomorrow will have something of a new look about it, especially towards the end of the game when the subs come on. Still it's a game we should win eventually and after all the updates this week i cant wait for it to start.

And i dont think it's been mentioned here but our Mini World Cup group is

South Africa
Ghana
Indonesia

In that order.
Suits me, i wanted to play South Africa tomorrow anyway. Welchy will be in charge for one of the latter games, not sure which one yet.

I feel stupid writing this out again but for our non-plus users.
I got what i expected from Bulgaria apart from how far they pushed up and that was decisive. It meant we had no room to move and were reliant on our wingers who were useless. They play to their strengths, defended and went for the draw. On another day we would have beaten them and we had enough chances to.

non-plus users can watch NT games.

you were unlucky towards the end, but ít has to be noted their tactics worked really good.

I was talking about how i'd already been discussing the game in our association.
Yep their formation worked pretty well. However, had our wingers and forwards been on their game we would have won comfortably.

Non plus should be able to join the Ireland Association. Scotland certainly has non plus as members.
