Right, as mentors your job is

- Say hello and explain. No-one likes being ordered around by a stranger ;)

- Teach them to design their own tactics. It doesn't matter how good their team is if the tactics are the terrible default ones. Tha basics of the grid are
. You create the tactic and name it
. You move the players, in all 35 spaces
. You save
. You select the tactic when you select your players

- Teach them how to recognise positions. eg a playmaker with no passing probably isn't a mid at all, or a defender with striking is probably a forward.

- Get their players and training system up as quickly as advisable (Dont bankrupt them) If they dont recognise a talented player you have to do it for them. Look through their squad and check the rating, it'll give you an idea of who to look for.

- Advise them to use the forum. As much as one person can help, 35 can do even more.

- Try to avoid getting them to increase the stadium unless they're promoted. That means after the playoff and when they've been awarded the prize.

Just try to answer any questions they have and if you cant direct them here. Anything i've missed?

I've no problem with you taking 4 as long as you take both teams. I know your brother is in there. I think he's clear of Clodhoppers anyway.

Actually the brother doesn't want to be mentored. He had some really funny comments to make, especially since he beat me 2-1 in a friendly not so long ago. I'd say he'd be alright. I think I'll just try and keep clods in the game, keep him interested.
