Subject: Bad Tactics/ GB Rovers

they're like global warming i think, the problem is only going to get worse unless we can stop the chineese from burning coal and figure out how to beat them.

I know cremartin, S.Athletico and Drunken Wanderers could probably come away with a result on a good day but teams like mine (11-1) (3-12) (9-0) need to employ some kinda sneak tactics.

I kinda have a plan but I'd like to hear from others who feel they might be in my position to see what you think

The way i see it, Constant defeats only weaken a team finanically with reagrds to sponsership and attendance and winning all the time must be doin wonders for the top teams, the rich get better and the poor get relegated.

I just think it's going to take a while for the rest of us to catch up financially.
For me personally i think it'll be another 2 full seasons before i can think about competing with them, thats assuming i get promoted. Tactically i'm happy but i dont have the players to be able to compete. I think other teams are closer to having the finances but dont have the tactics.

You have a point there :) I'm on 151k a week in sponsorship and 1673 supporters which helps me pay the 160k in wages I'm paying out.

The thing is that I'm not exactly hiding or keeping to myself on what I'm doing. Train your own players, don't buy expensive foreign trainees, and use the tactics editor as the default tactics are rubbish.

I've just under 1000 supporters, have 75k in sponsorship (For some reason it dropped massively this season) and i've no idea about my wage bill but i'd guess it's just under 60k. I'll train my own players when i get ones that i can train and i've been trying to buy Irish but those dirty rich foreigners keep pricing me out of the market.
Everyone needs to take a look at the tactic editor though. I dont know how many times i've said that you need a flat backline and yet i keep seeing the 2 at the back, flanked by 2 very wide, very attacking backs.

1557 supporters and 145k sponsorship here with 170k on wages. i do have a brilliant junior coach and 2 outstanding/1 formid assistant coaches so 100k of my wages is going on coaches.

im making way more than back on player sales and juniors tho so i dun mind too much. i could definitely do with making some changes to my tactics. i was never able to access the tactics at the beginning (flash player or something?) so i never really bothered with them. did pick some basic tactics eventually but i reckon thats whats been costing me against bad tactics. that and his brilliant strikers!

lol dun bother buying irish players - just get ure juniors and train them! look at my transfer record - have only ever bought 2 players (goalkeepers) and have 45 sales. nice bitta money gained too

When you buy you don't know the talent you're getting, it's much better to pick out your best talent juniors for yourself.

You have to think long term with this game- the best thing to do is sell all your old (25+ as they lose value after that) players and invest in a setup (stadium and coaches) for your youths.

Executor may have lost big to me this season but he scored 3 against me by analyzing my formation and trying to find a weakness. As far as I know that's the most I've conceded in a competitive match which shows how important tactics are...

All going downhill here, dont know how GB Rovers beat me 4-0 apart from having more shots - feel the score was a little exagerated. Losing supporters by the shedload. Ah well they are a fickle bunch

The tactic creator thing. Simply saying that the default tactics are awful and it's a far better option to create your own.
