2007-05-14 01:18:41
Nice one!
U gonna sell him?
2007-05-14 01:59:00
im changing to technique training in a few weeks. i think its better to keep somebody as good and talented as that
2007-05-14 06:36:19
if you decide to sell... i'm intrested - ideal for me:)
2007-05-14 08:11:25
He's an NT certainty. It's just a matter of whether it's as a forward or as an attacking mid.
2007-05-14 15:34:47
He's a gem alright. The new engine seems to favour playing a guy in the hole behind the strikers which he looks ideal for.
2007-05-14 15:35:48
You lucky b**stard- I just noticed his age :)
2007-05-14 16:10:55
ya i know, hes amazing at that age. best im gonna get for a while too
2007-05-14 20:58:01
See when you talk about playing in the hole behind the strikers, do you mean playing him as a mid or a forward? I've found playing guys there with the 'mid' order, they can be very reluctant to shoot
2007-05-14 21:22:33
Primarily they're in that position to take up any passes from the main midfielders and relay them on to the strikers.

With the new engine through balls direct from midfield to the strikers don't work as well as before, it seems to help if a guy is placed there to take up the pass first. Lots of playmaking passing and technique works for that.

If space opens up though, that player will have a shot which is why you want them to have some kind of striker rating. I mostly play Crossley in that position as he's a great playmaker but I've lost count of the amount of chances he wastes by having very low striking and trying to shoot.
2007-05-14 21:33:13
Ive been playing guys there with good passing/tech/striker but they havent had great playmaking. Would that be why they dont have the sense to shoot then?
2007-05-14 21:56:58
It could be- I wouldn't expect them to shoot more than 10-20% of the time tho. I'd place striking behind playmaking in priority- it's just a good bonus to have in that position.

Couple of other pops too.

He's young but his talent is bad; He popped to solid on 29th of the 3rd!

Is he worth selling to an unsuspecting fella, or should I just fire him?
