Subject: Update Day

July 1st-July 7th

It's at this point i realise it should have said "Days" :'(
It it what it says on the tin (almost) i'm having a rather large update of the national database on the 7th of July, all set-up for whoever is Ireland manager next season.
We've got exactly 200 players at the moment, some i'm getting updates for, some i've not had updates on since i took over in December. What i'm doing on the 7th is a major overhaul and update of the system and i'd like the players to be as up-to-date as possible when i do it. That means i'm after people either submitting the listed players to me via sk-mail or into the database via the link/s on the Ireland team page. I'll be posting a list of players incase you're wondering whether i'm talking to you ;)

Good stuff, unless shaneteam runs against you i'd expect u to get re-elected at a romp.

I'm all for you to run again Nin; I think you've done a fine job this year. I think we'll shine in a Mini world cup with the quality we have now- I got to the semis so I'll be expecting an improvement ;)

Yeah i'm looking at the teams who'll likely be in it and we're probably in the top 4 along with Belarus, USA and Turkey. Thats assuming they actually want to be involved.

I dont think re-election is a certainty anyway. We've had a big influx of newbies in the last month. Nothing would suprise me.

Has anyone got any ideas of things they'd like to see introduced next season? I'd like to involve you guys a bit more than i am currently. I dont think the mentor system took off so thats been abandoned in favour of just posting articles in the lower division.
I know other national teams have games and things but i've yet to see one i thought was worth doing.

Because the online database doesn't update ages automatically, i think i'm going to wipe it and start again before the update week starts. We wont lose any data because it's all stored offline but i could see it becoming quite confusing trying to co-ordinate the two, not knowing whose age is up to date and whose isn't. Basically i use the online database as secondary to keep the offline and more complete one up to date. I'll say when i've wiped it and it'll be up to you whether you resubmit.

The online database has been wiped for a new season. You can submit players whenever you like. if players dont meet the requirements for some reason, just mail them to me.
The list of player for the update will be posted sometime in the next 24 hours.

The list of players in Ireland is up in the main post. Its quite possible that some of them have been sold on or updated recently, in which case nevermind. It's impossible to keep track of everyone.
What i'm looking for is to get as many of them updated as possible by the 7th.
I'm bringing in a rolling system for updating players next season. At the start of every month i'll be requesting the skills of any player who is out of date by 3 months. This is the big update so i shouldnt have to do something this size again.

Thanks to those who've done this so far

This isn't quite going at the speed i'd hoped. I want to get the players from Ireland done first before i get onto the 118 players abroad because theyre more difficult.
