Pace seems to be a common problem. Unrealistic really as young players would normally be quicker. Maybe our scouts are just recruiting from fat camps.
I dont think you'll get a great price for him. Because he has no defending or attacking he'll have to play on the wing. To be a decent winger you need excellent in pace and passing at least.

His age makes him a decent enough prospect. At 17 he'll go up in pace really quickly. If he's worth 100k by 18 (which he looks like he will be) he's up there with the best of them. I'd consider keeping him on, especially if he has some talent.

Pace is generally a week slower though and he'll need a lot of passing to be of any use.
I'd keep him anyway because he could be useful in 3 or 4 seasons time

Yeah- a lot of people seem to be undervaluing the potential of 16-17 year olds which I guess was the point I was trying to get across. Matthews was only worth 25k or something at 16 when I got him and I sold him 6 seasons later for 6 million. At low levels and at that age its pretty usual for players to pop every 2 weeks.
