Not bad. I got my brilliant youth coach yesterday for 30k a week (he cost me 420k though) I've setup my training so that my main and youth coach combine to be unearthly in whatever i'm training.

Would you mind explaining what that means? Think I might bemissing something here...

Well the main coach might be unearthly in stamina, pace and technique and the youth coach unearthly in passing and playmaking. They cover everything i want to train if i switch them around.
2007-07-16 14:39:22
But then if you switch say your youth coach to main coach, will your youth not be getting less training?Or is your main coach brilliant as well?
2007-07-16 14:44:43
Yeah it is one step down from Brilliant to Incredible but the other option would be to have a brilliant youth coach and a briliant main coach as well and i cant afford that.

At the moment i'm paying

24k for an incredible main coach
31k for a briliant youth coach
3k for assistant
2007-07-16 14:49:16
Hmm my total coach fees come to 15k lol. Think I might look into upgrading my youth coach. Is there much differecne upgrading from excellent to formid do you know?
2007-07-16 14:52:07
I dont know how much the difference is but i know formidable is the minimum most people advise. I'd try to buy the best you can afford. How many spaces does your youth team have?
2007-07-16 14:58:25
24, and there's some pretty good rospects coming through as well. I have about 300k and seem to be turning over about 20 - 40k per fortnight profit
2007-07-16 15:08:07
You can pick up an Outstanding coach from 13k upwards.
You've a bigger squad than i have. What i've done though is kept the numbers down by sacking anyone who isn't quality. It means the money i save by having a smaller squad can go on a better coach.
2007-07-16 15:16:03
I have 13 players in my youth team at the moment.
Of the 7 i know the skills of 5 have a talent of 4 weeks and 2 have under 5 weeks. All but 1 are coming out at least outstanding.

Anyone who comes into the squad below weak is sacked

Anyone past a talent of 5 weeks is sacked

Anyone not coming out at least Very Good is sacked.
