Subject: Premiership History

Club management and NT management are quite different. I dont have the advantage of a big squad or being able to study all the oppositions previous games (they wont accept my debit card for plus :@).
I dont like offering excuses but 90% of my focus is on the national job, that was fine last season but we're really suffering for it now. However this week should be a different matter as the NT game shouldnt cause any problems. The tactic i used against you yesterday was basically the same as against Greece, what i'm finding out rather quickly though is my team isn't built for it.

im surprised ud put mackeamish on brunton. hes my best and most complete defender and player

ill probably be selling some good players soon to make training space so my team will as ever be in transition

keen to see how this season goes anyway

Better performance today but another loss. It's not going to get any easier either and i'm looking at the last games to pick up some points.
I'm not sure what i'm more concerned about, my defence (which i know isn't great) that put in a reasonable performance today or the fact that my strikers seem to have been replaced by geriatric pensioners who havent looked like scoring at any point this season.

sounds to me like the case of the body snatchers is more urgent that ur defence:)

Yeah- to survive in this division you'll need a better defence and more importantly a better keeper. I'm struggling this year because my defence and keeper aren't quite up there with what others have. I'll just have to make sure I score more than I concede :)

I can see a Keegan-like meltdown later on in a press conference about shane 'Alex Ferguson' 77777:)

That was an awesome premiership season. newcastle winning or losing 4-3 every second game [I'm a Liverpool fan] and *that* Keegan interview:)

As a Newcastle fan, i didnt think it was that awesome :(

It was a tragic day for Peter Schmeichel, lobbed from 25 yards out by a defender. Dear me :D
If i remember correctly he had a pretty bad month. Denmark lost 5-0 to Brazil, then the Newcastle game and then possibly even more wonderful than Newcastle battering Man U, Southampton destroyed you 6-3 in the following game. It was a glorious time to be a football fan.

I'm still pretty confident that I'll beat GB in the return fixture with an in-form Crossley showing his short sighted former manager what he let go for cheap ;)

It's been an exercise in self restraint on not my part to not stick that quote in. Has anyone else noticed though that teams try harder against me than they do against a little team like GB Rovers ;) (Yes I know I'm quoting from the wrong side now :) )
