17-0... well that's not too much shame.
Could have been worse
2011-03-28 17:46:47
Sorry 'bout that!

Bad Tactics lost? WTF?

I saw that the game was taking long to finish and thought it had maybe gone into extra time so decided to watch it but after 10 minutes I thought there was no conceivable way BotW could win and stopped. I'm stunned by that result

finally the winning streak is broken !! there is light at the end of the tunnel
2011-03-30 22:41:18
At least ther'll be two teams in champions cup next year:)
2011-03-30 22:54:12

Assuming Langhes doesn't have a disastrous season. It's totally opened up the cup competition now, there are at least 5 teams who can win it.

The ranking thing is important but it's

All the league champions
+
The highest ranked cup winners.

So any country where 1 club has done the double doesn't get a 2nd entry.

Rebuilding atm so couldn't field as strong a team as I wanted- quite happy tho that my misfortune should open up a place in the champions cup for somebody.

It'll be a rather short venture into the CCC I'd imagine

I'll try, but it will be hard to pump the NT to a rank that gives Ireland 2 cc spots :)
Good thing is that with the schedule ahead against those strong teams, one win every 3 games should give a decent net ranking gain. But the gap between 36 and 37 is pretty big.

31 Lietuva 2347.04
Portugal 2347.04
33 Bosna i Hercegovina 2327.06
34 Scotland 2285.48
35 Sverige 2256.62
36 Perú 2239.02
37 Australia 2075.46
38 Uruguay 2049.40
39 Ireland 2042.68

We don't need to be 32nd, that's not how it works. It's the (let's say) 90 league winners, plus the top 38 cup winners (who haven't already qualified by winning the league)

So if every team ranked about Ireland has league and cup double winners, the Irish cup winners would be the 91st team to qualify. As long as we're Top 40 it shouldn't be an issue.

But how many league winners are also cup holders ...
I think in the top 30 NTs, there are only a few.
Top 40 surely should be an position for the NT to be in by the time the CC is drawn.

I had a good look at it this season and the lowest ranked cup winner I could find was in a country ranked 45th.
