Its taken one of my 21 year olds about 6 weeks to go from weak to average in pace (unearthly coach). Just wondering if this is below average ie whether I should shift him on and hope to get a more talented replacement. I'm newish to pace training so just finding my feet really
I think Pace training is generally a week slower and considering he's 21, thats not too bad. If he's only Average at 21 though he's not going to get a lot quicker. Personally i'd try and make him look as good as possible with other skills and sell.
He's looking not too bad:
Richard Mooney, age 21
value: 105 750 €, wage: 1 175 €
magical form
weak stamina, tragic keeper
average pace, poor defender
average technique, excellent playmaker
average passing, adequate striker
Was debating whether to wait till pace hits adequate or good or just sell him now. May well just list him then

from week to avarage in 6 weeks? :/
sell him so fast as you can. nin has right - pace traning a lite bit slower than other skills, but on skills like week or avarage he should pop after 3/4 weeks at maxs.

He's a bit of an awkward one. I pretty much go by the idea that there are only two types of mids. You have the central mids who must have some defending along with being general all-rounders and you have the wingers who have to have exceptional pace and passing. He doesnt really fit into either.
What about the slightly-behind-the-striker type of player?
Keep on training him until you get someone better would be my advice. He's not going to let you down but in the future I'd trade up.
To be honest i dont rate those types of players or formation. The attacking mids just get in the way really, goals from midfield are rare and freekick goals are even rarer.
i have 2 20 years old player (the closest to your age)
good to Solid 3 weak
Incredible to Brilliant 6 weak
so my advise to you sell him to Polish team

polish teams with money and best trainers never buy such week players:) maybe in lower leagues only:)
