Subject: Coach and Assistants

With this coach:

formidable of stamina, poor of keeper
unearthly of pace, incredible of defender
unsatisfactory of technique, unsatisfactory of playmaker
incredible of passing, adequate of striker


What levelof assistants is it worth having? As I understand it the assistants are to encourage pops in, in this case, defender and passing. Are his incredible stats here enough to warrant a few decent assistants?

My understanding was only the main stat of the assistant coach matters. Not the individual skills.

The assistants may be helpful to the main coach improving his training effectiveness - the better the assistant (in terms of general appraisal)

Yeah so that is my main coach, and Im wondering if his side stats are good enough to warrant me hiring decent assistants. At present I have 1 excellent assistant

He's only unearthly in Pace so i'd say no, but it depends on what you want to train. Personally if your main coach isnt unearthly in whatever you're training he isnt good enough.
As for the assistants, people smarter than me say get the best you can afford, at least 2. I value the youth and main coached more though.

It doesn't exactly work the way you're thinking. All the assistants do is give a boost to your main coach in a general way.

In the end, apart from the individual head coach level of what you're training it all comes down to overall coach rating.

Main coach - Individual skills matter
Assistant - General appraisal matters
Youth coach - General appraisal matters.

dont train anything where you main coach is less than unearthy. its waste of money, time and talent.

Yeah Im training pace so my coach is ok. I think this thread has just left me more confused lol!
