Thanks for your early support and welcome to the first edition of the Football Superstars newsletter! Through this, and future editions, we plan to bring you development updates, exclusive screenshots, feature details, competitions and much more...

We would like to know what features you wish us to discuss in more detail each month. The development team will answer questions sent in by you via our video dev diaries.

To kick off, we are pleased to announce details of our first exciting Football Superstars competition.

We are giving you, our community, the chance to become a very real part of Football Superstars with our Goal Celebration competition.

Our goal celebration competition is easy to enter. Score a goal and then record your best goal celebration using a video camera, camera phone or other recording device then head on over to the Football Superstars' YouTube™ group.

Post your goal celebration video for everyone to see. Have other Football Superstars rate your performance. You can win the opportunity to be immortalised in the Football Superstars game by having your winning goal celebration placed in the finished game with the same motion capture studio used by the game development team.

Two of the most common questions we are asked are: "How will you stop everyone following the ball around the pitch ? Isn't it going to be total chaos ??" and "Won't everyone want to be a striker ??"

In answer, we fully expect initial games to be pretty chaotic, but we ensure players are exposed to the concepts of team play and tactics early. It won't be long before a team that plays together as a unit will easily defeat a team full of would be Rooney's. By the time you are playing in an 11-a-side league final you will know what is required to be successful.
