borkos007 asked me if I could help him developing this World Cup Guide, for the upcoming World Cup this saturday. The results are shown in this topic.
In this topic all countries participating in the World Cup are introduced to you. You will find statistics as interviews with the coaches of the national teams.
If you notice any mistakes or you have questions, please let me know by sk-mail.
I hope you enjoy reading this topic. This topic will be devided into 2 seperate parts because of the size of it. So we have Group A-D and Group E-H.

Who do you think are your best NT players? And why?[please give 3 best players and a little description of each one]
1. Zbyšek Sup. Our top striker. Czech rep have been missing decent ATT for a very long time. Zbyšek was our saviour already during the last World cup. That time, despite being aged only at 23, he was our best striker and was able to score against the hardest competitors. Nowadays, he is 25 and even more dangerous then even before.
2. Bonifác Pátek. World class quality winger, many international managers recognize his name and speak with great respect about him, specially those, who had the chance to „experience“ his kind of play.
3. Maxmilián Krupník. Really great defender coming from my own youth school long long time ago. Regarding his skills, he doesn’t have any real weak point and I think he is one of the best on central defender position in the world. Shame that he is in low form for ages.

What do you want to achieve with your NT in the World Cup?
Well, we are on postion 6 in world ranking. This means that we definitely have the quality and ambition to win the cup. Differences between the teams are very small and with good amount of skill and luck, we have the potential to claim the cup for ourselves.
How do you think, what will be the group standings after all games?

What is your biggest advantage over other NT coaches?
I have really lot of experience with playing as NT couch (10 seasons). During this time, I’ve learnt lot about different tactical approaches of my opponents and tried lot of different tactics myself. I believe this gives me better view of what to expect from the other side of the pitch and it’s harder to catch me by surprise.
Which teams will be in the final?
POL, BEL, EST, NED, ESP, ITA,ENG,CZE or any other. As I said, differences are very small and all of these (and other as well) have very similar chance to succeed in the cup.
Who would you support if your own country would get eliminated?
Eesti, Slovensko
Which other coach is the Guus Hiddink of SK in your opinion?
Guud Hiddink is (in my eyes) a person who was very successful as NT coach in several countries for a very long time. It is hard to choose someone similar in SK, it has to be someone showing great results for many seasons. Therefore I would choose people like hellsangel, sydval, maqoma.
Why are you the NT coach of this country?
The reason is simple. I am playing Czech league and therefore it is much easier for me to succeed in elections in Czech republic. There are 2 main reasons for it in my opinion: language barrier and preference of domestic candidate from the community. Although I am not “real” domestic candidate (because I a was born and live in Slovakia), these two facts made my election victory reality.

Who do you think are your best NT players? And why?[please give 3 best players and a little description of each one]
1. Ahmed Leggett. Probably the best keeper in the world in my opinion. He already has super divine pace & Keeper, and is at incredible passing.
2. Christie Parker. Englands best pure midfielder. Has great PM & Passing and is a great link player within the midfield.
3. Philip Dalston. Englands best all-round player, he is a great defender & midfielder. I have recently started playing him as a wing-back & his great passing has resulted in some great through balls.

What do you want to achieve with your NT in the World Cup?
I want to win the world cup. England certainly don't have the best team on paper, but in three previous seasons, we have won every single competitive game under my management except our semi-final defeat to Italy (when I swapped my winger and centre back in my lineup by mistake).
As a result I feel that England have the ability to win the world cup this time, no more mistakes!

What is your biggest advantage over other NT coaches?
I'm a great tactician & almost always get my tactics right. Good tactics can win you almost any game at this stage of the tournament.

I couldn't let Gibbage be coach again, he would ruin the NT forever!

3. Bernd Tarn. His manager calls him "the executioner"... and he's one! Great talent, only 22 years old. Probably the youngest NT player in a starting 11 at this world cup?!

I've beaten Austria 4 times as Swiss NT and i was sure that there is mutch more possible with this Nation. When there was no experienced candidate i tried it... and won the election!

1. Mike Van den Eede. Best striker of Nederland. Scored 96 goals for Nederland till now, and he will score some more in the next games ;)
2. Garry ten Kate. The NT keeper of Nederland. He's injuryed now and in low form..so it will be tough to see him on the WC.
3. Peter Mulders. Still a important player for Nederland. Has a great run on the wing :)

I think. Everything is possible in our group, it would be tough matches, but I'm ready for it ;)
What is your biggest advantage over other NT coaches?
I've alot of experience with national teams. I think it's my 8th season now that I'm national coach of a country. But don't know if it is a advantage..I'm still weak in tactics you know :p
Which teams will be in the final?
First team will be Spain. 2nd Česká republika. It will be a strange world cup:p
Who would you support if your own country would get eliminated?
Belgium of course. My dream is that Nederland will play the final against Belgium. Would be great for both countrys :)
Which other coach is the Guus Hiddink of SK in your opinion?
On international level Phil_Fox85 and Sydval. I liked there tactics in the last world cup. In Nederland I got some great tactical advise from The_smiths and Schepel, these 2 managers will be the next Guus Hiddink..they are Dutch! :)
Why are you the NT coach of this country?
Because Nederland is great country to be NT coach. They have first a nice community - when you are elected they support you till the end of the season or longer :) The squad is also good enough for playing against strong countrys, great NT crew etc... :)

1.Carisio Postach. I think he's one of the strongest keeper in the Sokker World. unluckily his low form his going to make him jump the WC.
2. Sebastiano Solacca. Great and Young defender. He's the certainty in front of the keeper.
3. Abbondanzio Spiritoso. One of the Best non polish MID. Class and precision condensed in 2 feet.

Doubtelss Colombia first. But I would be happy with a South American Finalist . But even a Spain's triumph would be nice

Why are you the NT coach of this country?
Because this was the last opportunity I had to lead a NT, so I candidate myself, taking advantage to the fact that the previous Ct which made the qualifications wouldn't have presented his nomination again.

Couple seasons ago when I was Magyarország NT-coach and failed to qualify to the World Cup I made a promise to myself that I'll come back. And here I am:)

I don't appreciate pointing out just one or a limited set of players of teams to play against me, but national teams are vert hard to beat.
What do you want to achieve with your NT in the World Cup?
It will be a step at a time, and the primary objective is to achieve a spot in the Round of 16.
How do you think, what will be the group standings after all games?
I obviously hope Brazil classifies in the 1st place, but the so called "death group" is still an opened question.
What is your biggest advantage over other NT coaches?
I wouldn't say the major advantage, but yet an important detail in this game: tatics can beat any teams here, just gotta plan it correctly to win.
Which teams will be in the final?
I hope Brazil gets there, but there are strong candidates like Spain, Italy, Eesti and others.

None. I'm just brazilian.

3. Teppo Teivas. He is our best def who has totally control of airspace.

I appreciate many managers in Veikkausliiga (top division of Finland). Of course there are also very good managers in the other countries, but I don´t want to mention any single one.

3. Phillip Nevis . His name suggests he's a man mountain, but actually the opposite is true...

How do you think, what will be the group standings after all games?
Suomi will be favourites to top the group. Any of the other 3 could finish 2nd and possible beat Suomi.
So this group could be very close. What fence do you want me to sit on, as long as its not the spiked one.
What is your biggest advantage over other NT coaches?
That I don't think I have one. I will treat every coach and every team the same. I will give 100% and do the best with what we have. I know other Countries will have better players and more choice, that doesn't matter to me. If we loose then fair play to the other team.
Which teams will be in the final?
The two teams that have got out of the groups and remained unbeaten.
Who would you support if your own country would get eliminated?
Nederland, I have some Dutch mates, some of them are nearly as crazy as the Scots. But they do like to 'relax', whats that all about! I suite Cloggs better than most of them. Only 1 of them has tried to kill me, although he assumed I was English when I ordered pints at the bar, big mistake. When he realised he was wrong he bought me and my mates whisky allround. I liked that and we returned the gesture. There is only one thing I dislike, there all too tall, you get a sore neck speaking to them after a while, and its a nightmare aiming the urinals.
Which other coach is the Guus Hiddink of SK in your opinion?
The Uruguan coach, had a very good qualifying campaign.
Why are you the NT coach of this country?
Because im Scottish, passionate about doing the best for Scotland and mainly because nobody else really wanted to be.

Difficult to say because our team take his power in the whole group !!
But we can say that we're a little better when Ali Saunier our team captain is in good form on the field, he's a really good defender and has a divine experience.
He was already here when the french NT won the first U21 World Cup as well as our best winger Hadrien Le Crom.
But the french NT also have several younger players as Christophe Roudil a great and young goalkeeper who can play and learn their job beside our experienced players.

Our best player is Milan Ružić. Except the fact that he is great on field he is also widely respected in Serbia because of his humanitarian work. He spends every monday in geriatric institurion helping old folks and reading books to them.
Next to him is the silent suffering of thousands of milfs in Serbia, the oldie goldie Radomir "Dado" Polumenta. His curly black hair and pearl white teeth, together with his strong physique helped him to score in bed even better than on the pitch.
And 3rd in line is the man with iron legs and balls of steel the one and only Jovica "Killer" Štrbac. It is said that the only man that is able to get past him is Chuck Norris, and even he only tries that when it's dark outside.
Which players of each group opponents are you afraid at most?
Deutschland:
- Guido Kahre - Decent mid.
- Freddie Schultz - I heard he has some troubles with claiming high balls
- Wastl Deiß - He knows how to strike the ball, but unfortunaly for him Jovica will eat him for dinner
France:
- Hadrien Le Crom - Now this is a really good player. Without a doubt he could make it to Serbian A squad bench and with some luck he could even play some games. Great passer.
- Liam Gérard - Extremly talented player. Quick, brave and knows to put the ball where it should be put. Too bad he didn't know to hold his balls in the right place so when his zoophilic sexual aspirations were found out during last season his form went down and now he is not even the shadow of player he once was.
- Mathys Robert - Probably the 12th best player in our qualification group(top 11 all Serbs ofcourse). Fast and deadly, he is by far the best french player. He plays in great team and I think his experience will help his team alot.
Slovensko:
- René Horváth - Almost good enough to play in Serbian NT reserves
- Jaroslav Kobra - He doesn't play as often as he should. Has really great surname
- Adolf Lehota - Great attacker. For our defence he should be no problem but the fact that he is injured is a very fortunate event for Germany and France.
What do you want to achieve with your NT in the World Cup?
We Serbs our very humble nation so our expectations are low I would say. Few easy victories, and in the end we even don't have to win in the final. Ofcourse, gold medal would nicer than silver, but we don't want to put that extra pressure on the back of our manager. Beside that we expect to visit as much of the pubs when we go to play away game and ofcourse to have lots of sexy time with busty horny foreign girls.

1. Kalmo Pukk – I’ve never seen a player like him and I feel sorry for everybody else because they have no idea what the word „best” means. He’s simply an absolute top of what Eesti can offer and will also be a captain as soon as Toomas Sai retires. Pay attention – Kalmo is only 24 years-old. In two seasons you’d be saying „Kluska who?” if you were to see his skills, but don’t bother asking, you never will. Just astonishing.
2. Villem Miller – He’s probably our only „out of the league” defender, even though we last got his skills 2 seasons ago – that says quite a lot, doesn’t it? We used to have the second best overall defence, we now only have the best individual. It’s still something.
3. Malev Põlluäär – Eesti has always had trouble finding a great winger but Malev is starting to put the problems behind us. He’s still growing into a supreme player but already means a lot for us. Kasimsietsma, his manager, has been most helpful to Eesti’s NT.
4. Rein Nõlvak – I’d also really like to bring this fellow out because we’ve always had trouble with goalkeepers. He’s not the best you’ve seen but has been our first-choice GK since he turned 22 last season. We have high expectations for this guy.

- Enzo Deroo/Jan Tambour – I’m waiting for them to get injured, to be honest. Just for 50 days x2.
- frank speliers – What he did to Czech Republic is really impressive. Unique name also.
- Kris Beken – His value is surreal.

- Markild Dragon – He has a promising name.
- Ingolff Thomassen – It’s definitely hard to put balls past this guy.
- Visti Fritzner – Great value for a striker.
Chile:
- Omar Villaseńor – Sillu’s boy, he’s awesome, no doubt.
- Coné Morón – Seems like a really strong midfielder.
- Brian Cienfuegos – Great attackers are always a threat

There’s no other goal than to win it, of course. I understand that there are a lot of countries which managers have the same idea in their mind but although I fear we don’t have that much firepower and overall depth, I’d be gutted with a loss to anybody.

One could argue that Ingolf Thomassen is the best goalkeeper in the entire game. He's a massive pressence at the back, and it's still beyound me that he was sold for less than 6 250 000 $. Attacking-wise, my team heavily relies on Raimund Hasberg and Visti Fritzner. Raimund is our main playmaker with decent skills in that department, whilst Visti is our best striker. Hopefully their form will pick up in the next couple of weeks - that certainly could be better!

My knowlegde of football in general, and the ability to "translate" this into game advantages. I work as a reporter for various Danish sports websites, and have a past researching for national TV.

Belgium and Italy are decent shots, I guess. But of course, you cannot underestimate the likes of Poland and Spain.

Finland, I guess. They're the best Nordic country along with us.

I don't think you can make those kind of comparisons. But managers like Phil_Fox85 of England could be considered as one of the top managers in the game - alongside previous NT managers like Hellsangel and our own Crameren.

I think it's because I am one of the few in Denmark who has experience from working with top class players - this is my second stint as NT coach, and I think I did quite well on my first attempt. And I think that my activity level on the Danish forum has been above average, at least :)

Our goal is to make top 16, and it would be something what everyone expected from us, but than in knock-out phase it lot depends who will we play against

España - strongest team and one of top 5 sokker country in world
Hrvatska - we beat turkey twice 3:0 in qualifying for this WC
Türkiye - great team and they can mess this group up
Uruguay - weakest team in our group
What is your biggest advantage over other NT coaches?
It is very hard to talk about own advantages, but I have enough time to look at every opponent, have enough experience to try to attack opponents weak side, and of course have good team around me, so they can always help me with good advices
Which teams will be in the final?
Poland for sure, cause they have great manager on bench and there won't be any surprise, and second strongest team is Italy, but they could loose from few teams before, but for me the second strongest
Who would you support if your own country would get eliminated?
I would support every team that play against the Poland, cause they are too strong and it is always nice when David beats Goliat. And of course we would like to see that they are beatable
Which other coach is the Guus Hiddink of SK in your opinion?
There was one great manager CROCOP from Hrvatska (Croatia), but unfortunately he retired from sokker...and I think lot of older users still remember him
Why are you the NT coach of this country?
Very easy - on elections most managers vote for me :)) and I have perfect score so far 10 games - 10 wins in qualifying for WC....and they probably give me their vote cause they know that I will always try to take 100% from team, and that I have enough experience to make good moves

There are no big advantages since everyone at this level has great tactical skills.The biggest difference in a match depends on how well a formation fits the opponent's and that depends on luck a lot. Of course you also need a a numerous and powerful team. Uruguay doesn't have any of the two!!! hehehe

I have no idea but if I have to make a choice I would say España and England

2. Miasojedovas - Mysterious (nobody knows how good he is, just that he is really good) flesh seeking young monster, there is a rumor that it's not his surname, just alias which he chose after biting of someones ear.
3. Kucinskas - Old dieing dog, though it doesn't mean he can't bite, full of tricks, will kick the ball (your left one) while referee is of guard and old dog becomes faster than you.

I'm taking it as serious as I can, so serious that we played without 1 defender first game, and tactics were finished at 6h in the morning. + I am unpredictable, I haven't changed my tactics for ages, literally.

Honestly? Well, we had elections sydval was re-running for coach position. He had no opponents at first, but there was some lame belgian guy who tried to win U21 elections, but sydval was getting loads of critics so that belgian guy smelled a warm place and started running for NT. sydval was still in the lead, but pissed his pants and ran away because he couldn't handle the critics, so there was only that belgian guy left. I had no other choice (I really didn't like that belgian.... seriously...) but to participate myself and here I am. shortly 2 reasons First Second
