I'm 28 years old and I'm from Taranto (Italy).

I chose to apply for your U-21 because I think it's one of the national U-21 with the greatest potential.

I am a fan of "perfect" tactic, and I think that with the right tactics it's possible to win even the more difficult match.

In my opinion with the potential of U21 Srbija players, we must arrive at least in 3rd position in order to be satisfied.

The problems of the defense may be divided into two basic types: tactics and skill. The tactic, in my opinion, can compensate significantly the lack of skill.

1) Tactics:
(4-4-2) I usually prefer 4 defenders, with the two central defenders protected by a defensive midfielder and two lateral defenders who must support the offensive wings. The positions of central defenders and of the defensive midfielder is vital, and must be studied in order to make the defensive midfielder pressing on the opponents with the ball and to make defenders whenever possible arrive before the attackers.
(3-5-2) Sometimes it's possibile to use a defense with 3 central defenders (no lateral defenders) with one more defensive midfielder in front of the defense. In this case it's necessary that the wings work more on the lateral lines in order to be active both in defensive and offensive actions.

2) Skill:
The skill is important but less than the tactics. A well-positioned defender can stop the attacker even if his defense skill is lower than the opponent's technique. In any case a good central defender should have, in addition to defense, high speed and technique (losing the ball can be lethal). Better a defender balanced in these three skill than a defender with superhuman skill in defense. Sniffing out the defenders with these characteristics will be responsible for my scout (I'm still searching).
