Subject: in case of red card

What do you set the substitutes for? I had a central defender sent-off last week and as i had no idea how to change the formation around, i was left with a gaping hole in my back line! Or is this not possible?

to sub players who are red carded you need to set the orders to:

1min in case of red card or no player, player x (where x is a player in the starting XI) on position 1 (for keeper)
1min in case of red card or no player, player x (where x is a player in the starting XI) on position 2 (for defender)
etc.
i recommend setting keeper + all defenders. you may then want to replace the player who has switched; I set my defensive midfielder to cover the defense & keeper slots, then my attacking midfielder to cover him, then a striker to cover the attacking midfielder. that way the inner mid field and the defense and keepr positions are all covered.

my orders for 3-4-3

1' red card or no player
(player 4)(defensive mid) on position 1(keeper)
1' red card or no player
(player 4)(defensive mid) on position 2(defender)
1' red card or no player
(player 4)(defensive mid) on position 3(defender)
1' red card or no player
(player 7)(attacking mid)on position 4(defensive mid)
1' red card or no player
(player 4)(defensive mid)on position 5(defender)
1' red card or no player
7 (player 8)(striker) on position 7(attacking mid)

if you go to the orders page you can set the minute to 1 and select the no player or red card option. Then either choose a player off the bench highlighted in black or choose one of your current players to fill that void.

you cannot select a player off the bench as you cannot sub for a red card

eeep!

but you can set up to and put one of your players in goal then sub them for a reserve goalie!
