How important is this? Do you really notice a dip in a player's performance if his form is low and vice versa?
2007-12-08 12:28:40
huge effects
2007-12-10 21:41:56
anything lower than adequate seems to show a real drop in performance. Anything lower that excellent with strikers also seems to make a difference in terms of strikers hitting the target.

Cheers guys, useful stuff
2007-12-11 20:10:24
Yup.

I'd suggest that max to min form is equivalent to a couple of levels of skill - especially for strikers.
2007-12-11 20:13:07
personally I think its worth quite a bit more - 4 or maybe more
2007-12-11 20:22:51
even for newbies?

Maybe for magical players - but I'm unsure at solid.
2007-12-11 21:30:20
good point - probably a percentage effect so talking of levels is less than helpful.

ie brilliant might become effectively excellent
and proportionately that means solid becomes adequate
2007-12-11 21:31:34
and wasn't there an example of a divine pace player slower than an excellent due to relative forms?
2007-12-11 21:32:37
yes, though tech was involved a little.
2007-12-11 21:33:07
Tech and pace go hand in hand when a player has the ball.
2007-12-11 21:35:06
or foot in foot, to be more precise.

pm could have been involved aswell, but the point is valid.
2007-12-11 22:12:19
interesting though.

We should be able to see that on keepers - at half time they have races.

All we need now are some keepers with opposite levels of form...
2007-12-11 22:17:38
Good point, we should be able to judge a lot from these keeper races. Maybe you guys in the premiership should start a thread on it, and document every race, the pace and form of the participants, with the winner?
2007-12-11 22:18:23
Leino for the win!
2007-12-11 22:19:23
Even in tragic form?!
