Subject: Stadium income

Has any work been calculated on the money income you get for each seat type in a stadium?

Terraces
benches
Seats

and how much if any you get extra for roof. I know this is more aimed at keeping attendances up in bad weather conditions.

Or as we dont get a breakdown, this is impossible to answer?

Sorry if this is somewhere else, but I couldn't see it at a quick glance.

I was wondering things like - is it more profitable to have 8000 benches or 5000 seats.

Cheers

Check the last line of the Rules.

No problem. I hope it answers everything, if not, shout back here ;o)

It answers that upgrading stadium is not high priority - working on the payback time before you are even :/

What is good advice, when you do upgrade go for benches behind goal and seats at sides for now :)

aye, but you're absolutely right, payback is double-digit number of sold out games - so is very long term. And generally you need the cash at the start to simply avoid going bust in your first season as you live a little like a league two team - selling players to stay afloat.

Certainly would only wait till you have excess cash! Some teams are successful on very small stadiums...

Yes but afcpaul is top in III so not that new. He also has one hell of a big terrace down the side of the pitch! :/

Not sure if he can afford to change that to seats as it will cost a fortune I would think but the income difference would be a fair amount over a season.

Thats the point, to change that stand to seats would take ages to get maoney back. But I understand that you have do it sometime. I have the cash, just the weeks it takes to get even is madness.

Yes but in the long term its far better! ;)

Agreed, the sooner you pay for it, the sooner you pay it all back.

I would hate to think how much my stadium costed me over the years, but now the income really boosts my finances.

your stadium is the best in England.

For the time being, you have to keep investing to stop people overtaking you.
