Recently started out and still trying to work out how quickly my income will pick up, or not! So a few of questions...

Is sponsorship paid in the offseason?

Does sponsorship continue increasing week in week out, or is it linked more to performance in the league?

Do you get prize money for your league finish position?

Any light that can be shed appreciated!

Welcome to the forum. I'll try and answer your questions.

Sponsorship is paid every week, including during the off-season break. The amount you receive is dependent on various factors, such as league prestige, match result (incl. friendly, to a much lesster extent) and prestige of opponent, fanclub size & fan mood. Generally speaking, it will increase each week for new teams - unless your results are terrible!

You don't get prize money for your league position. However, every team receives two cash boosts start the new season, which are:

Extra sponsor payment - 1.5 x your usual sponsorship money, in addition to the usual payment

Fanclub renewals - £75 x no. of supporters club members

These provide extra cash on the Monday before the opening cup matches (I think), which will be 4 weeks today (I think). Hope that helps!
