'During the training session the players were a bit absent-minded. They will not receive training this week..'

WHAT??!!

how often does this crop up or is it just me?

I take it you are training strikers? Guessing that you are, it means that you can only play 3 strikers per game, training a maximum of 6 over the two games. You played 4 in each so therefore you lost training. It is written in the rules somewhere, but this is often the only way new managers learn, I should know as I have done it myself!

just you, we don't do it any more...

It is where you have fielded players with too many in one position.

I've also done this, including when I was training an England National Team striker. So it can happen to anyone. :)

Why don't they change the message? Nobody realises what it means until they post on the forum. I had to ask last week and someone else asked on the other Newbie forum 2 days ago. I wonder how many people out there are not getting any training because it's not clear what the message is really related to?

It's pretty clear that you aren't getting training for some reason, though. If it happens once you might think it was random. Two weeks in a row and you'd start to wonder.

I think Sokker is quite generous in the information it supplies in the Rules. It virtually tells you how to play the game.

If i had this message (which i haven't to date) the first thing i'd think of is to read the rules.

Learning the hard way rocks!

It's a balance. It could state exactly what is wrong, but it would be a bit mechanical.

Anyhow, your assistance manager now hints that the problem is linked to team formation
