KwaZulu [del] to All
My team is improving VERY quick... quicker than I am as a manager! I managed to get from nearly bankrupt to having just over £250,000 in the bank... Now I have narrowed my next move down to 5 things:

1. Keep going as I am with my current squad, containing very few, but very versataile players. We have a steady income.

pro: we could possibly hit the million mark by the end of the season if we spend nothing!

con: we will not achieve all we can this coming season.

2. Expand our ever-growing stadium further to earn extra funds to buy a superstar. We already sell out most games, but only just.

pro: we currently average around 24 subscriptions from fans each week, and if this keeps up, we will earn loads from home games

con: our consistency of subscriptions may fall if we don't upgrade our squad

3. Use our existing funds to Buy a young striker with great potential to partner Edmund Whitaker up front

Pro: more goals = more wins = more fans!

con: not enough of a stadium to hold our new fans

4. Split up our current funds to upgrade various positions with mediocre, but better players.

pro:
More service for Whitaker
Younger players with more future potential

con:
New players can't be a great deal better than what we already have.
2 superstar strikers are better than 1!

5. Invest in an Unearthy striker coach to train 21 year old Marcell Bácskai (Solid pace, Average technique, Solid striker)

pro: New coach could rub off on 25 year old Whitaker too!

con: Other players in other positions recieve less attention, including 19 year old talented defender Friedrich Reuter

Any advice from you experienced managers who may have been in the same position before will be greatly appreciated... or any advice at all for that matter!

My advice is to think as long term as possible. This means getting your training sorted as early as possible. This leads me to believe you might need better coaches. You mention an "unearthy* coach". Do you mean General Appraisal (GA) or single skill? If you mean single skill, do it now. Right now. You can come back and read the end of this post.
If you mean GA, then have a think. See How much cash you are making over a two week period. Factor in another 40k (I think...someone else might be able to give you a better idea) of wages over the same period. If the reduced income is still acceptable to you, then you might want to give it a go.

Whichever way you go, think training first, imo.

Thanks for the advice guys!

Yeah, I did mean Unearthy as a single skill, but the problem is with upgrading my coaches is that the players in my team are of a high average age, and a coach with Unearthy general appraisal eats away at ur wages like a starving fat bloke finding a McDonalds in the desert...

Sell them and replace with younger player in the area that you propose to train. It's not worth training low level 25 year olds and the 21 year old could be replaced by one a few years younger with minimal cost difference. Long-term value for money is definitely to spend on an unearthly coach in the area you train and then the balance between stadium and first team is down to you - that money is best spent on talented trainees if you intend to improve your squad in the long run.
