Subject: Debt limits

Been plotting my inexorable rise through the SK leagues (last statement was probably the kiss of death!)

This 'master plan' will involve getting circa £175k in debt before the end of season payments come through. So what's the score with the 150k and 300k debt thresholds?

I've read the rules and undestand what happens at -£300k, but what changes at more than -£150k ?

Answers appreciated before I right royally shaft myself!

The worst thing will be the interest payments which will easily be 5-6k at 150k a week, so I would estiate you needing to do something about that before then.

Thanks for the thought, but I've factored in the 4.5% weekly debt payments - they'll top out at a rather unpleasant £8k.

But I don't get the diff between the 2 limits mentioned in the rules?

after -150 you can no longer buy players or coaches etc. After 300k you have a set period of days to get out or be shut down.

Thanks.

So if I'm going to go over £150k I need everything on board before I do...

...oh, and a plan to get back!!

yep basically.

I did this in div 4 a couple of seasons ago and it worked. However, you need to be aware that it will be the same squad that you have in div 4 that you are counting on to keep you up in three.

That worked last season but now I am in transition where I still have debt stopping me buying the best players and my trainees are not good enougth in some postions on the pitch while my main squad gets older and older.
