Hey. I've got a junior rated at good with 32 weeks left until he is ready.
Will he end up being a good player for a new team, and what skills will he have?
Edit: And I got this coach randomly. Is he OK for £600
Ziggy Fooks, age: 61,
wage: 7 695 £
club: The Surrey Steamers, country: England
excellent coach
Training effectiveness:
adequate of stamina, excellent of keeper
hopeless of pace, incredible of defender
brilliant of technique, average of playmaker
incredible of passing, brilliant of striker
Thanks.

Good 32 is almost the best you can have in this game. It depends on his talent and your junior coach how good he will be in 32 weeks. It´s impossible to predict his skills.
edit: Your junior coach`s is very high for his skills. It should be almost double as less as it is now. For junior coach only overall skill matters...and excellent fot you is normal at the beginning, wage is high though.
If you pull a coach, the try to set 2-3 skills on formidable, other 5 skills on excellent and keeper to solid. Maybe that helps you getting a better (wage) junior coach.

could be amazing - that's near to as good as possible.
Thing is you will have to wait a few weeks to see how quickly he rises - if he increases every 4 weeks he'll have great skills.[cool]
If he pops only after 8 weeks you should fire him [cry]
How good is your youth coach? That'll have an effect

Wages for assistants and junior coaches.
Those wages are almost perfect. If you get a coach with bit higher wage, then there is no need to pull another one.
General appraisal...wage
7. good - 28 000 $
8. solid - 40 000 $
9. very good - 59 200 $
10. excellent - 92 000 $
11. formidable - 126 000 $
12. outstanding - 200 000 $
13. incredible - 283 000 $
14. brilliant - 416 000 $
15. magical - 544 000 $
16. unearthly - 952 400 $

you might want to upgrade your youth coach to outstanding for the same pay particularly if your youth turns out to be talented
He has been here only for a month and outstanding youth coach would be too good for him. Too expensive. Excellent-formidable will do just fine.
I agree - I started with a formidable.
But he is already paying the wages of an outstanding so he could consider having one!

Sorry, but I'm a bit confused by this. It says that he's an excellent coach, not outstanding.
And do some players pop faster than others?

They all have a hidden level of 'talent'. The higher it is the quicker they will pop to higher skills. You can only find out by watching. They continue to pop faster after they are in your main team too if they are higher talent.
For the youth coach the only skill that matters is the overall skill. Yours is excellent. From Vilpu's list you can see that the cheapest are only £3500 per week. Yours is over £7000 - a bit of a waste.

The speed of popping can be as low as 3 weeks or as bad as 20+
This is effected by both the talent of the player and the quality of the coach.
With an excellent or formidable coach a pop in 4 weeks is extremely good but over 7 is poor.

I'd say keep the ecxellent he is enough for now and wait for your youths first 2 pops to see how long it takes
The excellent is going to be my first team coach.
he's not good enough it is the individual skills for head coach which are important and he has none at magical/unearthly.
What are you planning to train?

you need to be careful with money at the beginning - try to find and excellent for £4k or a formidable at £5k. Have you looked at the transfer market? You might pick one up for a fiver
strikers. And I can't afford to many trys at getting a good coach, and he's my best at strikers.
