Subject: SAY NO TO 1 POUND PLAYERS

When I had been playing that long I bought Dane Zaninović for the grand total of £19k, he was rubbish then. 2.5 years later I just sold him for £3m

Well all I can say is that I recently failed to sell a couple of YP's. They had Pace+Stiker+Tech at a total of 16, player aged 18.

This player was certainly trainable if you have a lack of trainees/funds.

Its certainly better than some of the punts I see new guys taking on older players who are clearly still going to be worth next to nothing after a fair few pops.

According to his stats, the 1st match he played for you he rated 46. I know stats mean jack, but I've never had a player rate 46 and most of my players rated under 25 for the first few games.

I take it back - it doesn't go all the way back!

The player history of stats will not go back all the way to when he was first bought.

hopeless stamina, tragic keeper
adequate pace, hopeless defender
average technique, adequate playmaker
average passing, poor striker

although I doubt he was quite that good as he had more stamina probably

But it's those 16yo's now that go for hundreds of thousands of pounds if the talent is known or unknown!

Totally. I wish these wrestny managers like Daleg, Phil and the Premiership buffs realise how hard it is to start off these days ;o)

i have now got my mate to sign up! but he is already whining about how long it takes to get a team and he only signed up last night! but i would of thought the devs could get through them today so they have time to arrange a friendly!

it is not a bad thing to buy £1-£2 because i have seen these players turn into decent players. Take this guys for example:

Hannes Demetz, he is a decent player now
Tal Holtman, he is now a very valuable player

so £1-£2 has its ups, i wont say spend £2 only but be careful when spending and especially do not get sucked in when buying players

forget the 1-2 pound players! all you need to concentrate about is getting to div3 as fast as possible. As i have said before 1-2 pound players are not going to get you there

he has been to div3 before and got relegated.

you have played before and your one pound players got you no where! so learn from your mistakes.

you might as well keep all the 22 players they give you if you are going to spend money on crap as they would be just as good.
