tht looks pretty good... It works well when the attackers are spaced quite far apart... I have a tactic similar to that but havent used it for a while...
well it works extremely well if your forwards have passing and PM and also pace they can be wingers as well as strikers if you know what i mean
sort of... I just spaced them out a bit so they could run thru the channels of the defence more effectively
plus it works wonders against the default tactics!

yep their centre backs always seem to follow the player making it easy to create holes and no one to cover them
i have been using similar tactics for quite sometime
works well
will work better with faster players........ specially defenders

looking for a bit of advice here... this is the basic layout of my tactic...

Basicly I want ur opinions on my Attackers... What should the center forward have or not have as his main skill?
I have one striker with amazing pace and technique, and not so good shooting, and one with amazing shooting ability but slower and slightly less technical.
I always thought it was best to have the better 'striker' further forward and the better dribbler behind him but now I'm not so sure... getting very mixed results...
Any opinions on this?

@Kwazulu
Well i normally look to play with a lot of one on one confrontations which means that my strikers will hang on to the back four and when they beat them, the ball cant leave their feet so i look for this in my players:
tech and striker
pace not essential but very advisable but if your player have good tech then stick him up there to take on the back 4 and he will win most of the balls and with his tech the ball cant leave his feet also he will have to finish it as well.
But if you like your strikers to drop off and get the ball and to give the back 4 a bad time, i think you need these stats:
pace - essential
passing
playmaker
striker
stamina
this is effective as he will run to the wing run down to get the ball faster than centre backs and it will just tire them out and your player can pace the back 4 out. When he is on the ball, if he has a high rating of PM. He will definitely think fast before he is caught by the centerbacks.
Hope this helps
@ everyone:
i used this kind of tactics for very crucial matches in my experience and i won once out of 3 matches when i used it and i had slow players that time:
.............ST...............
.............FW..............
AM.........................AM
..........CM...CM..........
................................
..CB...CB....CB....CB..
It is very good for attacking football but what i noticed is that there will be a lot of space in the midfield and you will lose possession easily and the reason why i won it is that i made it so that my wingers and central midfielders stay back and defend while my forwards stay up. And i beat them through a counter attack. But of course my strikers were pacey that time but my team werent.

i tried tht (ur tactic) once before and all that happened was the attackers got in each others way... having said that I was very inexperienced back then...
btw thanks for ur advice :)

I see it as pace and tech for players who play off the last man, if you play balls past the defense, you want your striker to get there, and keep it, and shoot.
For players that play deeper, and generally get into the box for crosses, and shoot from distance you'll want striking, and tech, with passing/pm to help them with the slightly deeper role.As I see it, there is no point running 100 mph into a defender who's just going to tackle you.

he makes more sense than i do. Sorry if i confused anybody
That's your opinion ken, that's just the way I see it.
yeah tnx E_Cartman... thts what I'm trying today. I did try this once but it went horribly wrong when I forgot to set my supporting strikers as ATT as they were MID from the previous tactic I used...
It helps to have strikers with a bit of defending as you get a few extra chances if they can dispossess the opposition defenders and run through on goal.
that is true. my attackers lowest defender skill in my lineup is adequate
