that is true. my attackers lowest defender skill in my lineup is adequate
2008-04-06 20:28:55
I agree... my best striker is good at defending... according to Apollo he is a defender! lol

My Striker has Outstanding defending.

I think mine trumps most!

You should employ a different dietician.

outstanding is that Benson then
2008-04-06 20:36:59
Nah, the other one, Benson has Outstanding passing.
2008-04-06 20:37:38

2008-04-06 20:38:19

I have a question about tactics...

If I set an attacker to literally goal hang for the entire game by staying in the opponents box, will he logically stay onside behind the last defender, or will he stay exactly in the box the whole time regardless of the offside rule?

I have noticed that the attackers do often run back to an offside position when they need to... but I'm just wondering if they will do so despite putting them so far up front...

Hope I made sense! lol

I don't know is the answer, they do try to keep themsleves offside, may be worthwhile trying it out in a friendly.

yer was going 2 this week but never got round to it... I'll give it a go next week, see how it goes!
2008-04-11 22:31:01
surely they should be trying to keep onside?!?!

offside bad... onside good, yes?
2008-04-11 22:33:39
not if you are the boy lineker...
2008-04-11 22:36:28
technically his ears played him onside
2008-04-12 01:46:22
if the angles tight then yeah... but if ther miles in front of the defender , going back onside will be against what the tactic says... are the players really intelligent enough to be aware that they are always offside?

maybe thts where 'tactical awareness' comes in

either way ill try it in next weeks friendly to see!
