Every time I try to sell a couple of players. This appears

The player has rejected the chance to go on the transfer list. He feels he deserves another chance.

How long will it take b4 I can sell him and what can I do to reduce the time?

From the rules:

- the number of matches played for the club - the less he played, the higher the chance of refusal
- the number of players put up for sale by the team within the past 2 weeks
- form of the player - the lower the form, the chances of his rejecting the transfer increase (lower affect)
- mood of the supporters - the worse, the more likely that player will agree to a move (lower affect)

So the player have to play for at least 3 matches, also it also depends on how many players you have sold with in the week so if you sell about 5-10 players. The player is like to reject. If the player is in low form he can accept and also if your supporters are depressed or lower then he will also accept.

Give it three weeks and he might just go. If he aint good enough to play in the first team dont play him. Only play him in friendlies.

So the player have to play for at least 3 matches

there is nothing that says it must be at least 3 matches. just try again each week.
players fetch much higher prices during the first week or 2 of the new season (after bonuses are paid), so unless you need to sell now it may be worth holding on for a few weeks for the better prices. of course, if you need the money to buy new players then these will also be more expensive at that time.

This has never actually happened to me yet...i guess i try and train players i buy.

I wouldn't call Ken a liar here either...in fact, i'd say he's the most equipped to answer this question too! :o)

You are right though, nothing in the Rules about it being 3 games...i wonder if any body else can confirm?

i've had it happen when i was selling original team players at the start. they switched from one week to the next. there is no "3 games" requirement.
2008-05-04 16:26:04
Are you sure? From the Rules:

The daytrading regulations exclude all players from your initial squad and youth school.

maybe it was someone i bought by mistake? but i remember it happening and ive never been a daytrader.... will check my trf history. but yes i'm sure it happened, and i'm sure it was ok by the next week.

can't see it in history... probably didn't sell so got sacked. but anyway... definitely NO 3 week requirement.
