Is it better to train overall pace for 22 lower skilled players - or a specific skill to a lesser number of players?.
What type of training makes the most cash within Sokker?.
What type of training makes the most cash within Sokker?.
The general idea to most beginning training is if you pick pace, try and find players that have reasonable skills in other areas but lack pace to make them any good.
The last question is a good one...pace can net you a lot of cash, but then other skills suffer if you train it for very long periods, so you have to spend your winnings on players that are more rounded.
I guess arguably you must train a number of things to generate the most cash.

What is a 'number of things'?.
I train pace now - before that I done stamina - how long should I train the basics?.
If pace & stamina is just a 'step through' - where do I go on from there?.

I made the same mistake as you and trained stamina for my first 8 weeks in SK. If I had my time again I'd have gone straight on to pace as the stamina will catch up in the off-seasons.
I think you need to train pace long enough so that everyone pops twice (assumming all your players are young) so you have an accurate pop-to-pop time in weeks. This way you can compare their talent and ship out the untalented ones.
To give you an idea - these 2 guys were in my team.
19yo - took 4 weeks from Very Good to Excellent Pace = talented
20yo - took 5 weeks from Weak to Average Pace = untalented b*stard
Unsurprisingly I'm getting shot of the 2nd guy.
After Pace it really depends where the strengths and weaknesses in your team are as well as who you buy.
But others are in far better position to advise on this, I'm still finding my way.

Steelers has given some great advice...pace is a good starting point because it gives you a good chance to see how talented your players are. As with steelers, from there i am certainly no expert on what to train next...just choose a long term training plan and stick to it. Buy in "trainees" that can play in the friendly and once you have finished training that particular skill sell them off or "promote" them to your first team...and the cycle continues until you make a bigger and bigger profit on sales...get better players...get promoted...earn more money for better coaches and players etc.
OK - thank you for your help & advice.
I will stick with pace for another season, & re-think my training from there.
I hope my 'pace' players do well on the transfer market early next season, so I can make some cash for new player investments.

Pace will only improve your side, so thats a wise call. ;)
Selling early in the season you should make money on your players.
It can be volatile though, last season I had 2 similar players selling at the same time. The worse 1 sold for 50k less iirc, but best of luck anyway. ;)

I am holding on to my 2 good pace trainees until early next season. I will put them on the transfer market at week 1 (I hope that is a good week for good sales?).
They may make some cash for all my efforts with their training?.
I only have 2 players that might do OK in the transfer market, I don't expect loads of money - but any new cash will help my team.

Normally the first couple of weeks of the new season is a good time to sell. However, i don't think this is always true for all types of player...
You should be OK though, make sure you advertise them as much as possible!

I don't think they will be worth much of a read in an ads.
The best pace player I have is 'very good' (so not a world beater).
But I will try in the 1st 2 weeks & see what happens. I assume I should try & buy a couple of cheaper replacements now?
My big hope for next season is a Junior who pops every 4 weeks has 10 weeks to go - & is currently Formidable +3.
I hope he does well for me?.

Even if he comes out with a bad skillset he is highly talented, so he'll do you well.
What youth coach do you have?

I have recently put in place a formidable coach.
I hope it will support my Junior players.

He should come out as a brilliant then...and could be worth a fortune!
Don't forget to post him here when you promote him ;o)

I will for sure post him on the site you suggest.
I have my fingers crossed he will be a quality young player, & worth loads of cash.
