Subject: help

Seems like a newbie question so i will post it here.

I have a problem im currently training pace, I mainly have focus on striker trianing in the future. Although i have this guy in defense! I plan on never trianing defenders, Which to me seems a waste of a player :( Im not sure on pace talent, As i keep an eye on striker's not the outfield player's. If he has decent pace talent will someone take him off my hands?

you'd probably get a reasonable amount as he'd only be 19 when the new season starts - sell him then not now, as everyone is cash-strapped before end-of-season bonuses.

btw - talent is universal across all skills.

He would definately sell, even if you found him to be untalented (just don't tell anybody!).

The problem with him is that defenders need a little bit of playmaker and tech to really be nice players and that's what he is really lacking in.

Pace trains slightly slower than the other skills.

I didn't mean that - probably didn't explain it clearly...

...what I meant to say was that you don't get a player who shows talent at pace and defending training for example, but never pops if you train him in technique.

Talent is universal in this sense, but I agree (well, actually have learnt!) that pace is trained more slowly than other skills.

That makes sense. :)
