Yes, you do get an end of season bonus... This is how it's determined:
(number of supporters x 75) + (sponsor money x 1.5) = season bonus!
You can never be exact, but... This is always a good estimation!
Here is a plan of the off season:
Week 14 - Sunday - last league games
Week 14 - Wednesday - friendly games / friendly league games
Week 15 - Sunday - Qualification games for teams who finished 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th or 1st (or 2nd depending on your country)
Week 15 - Wednesday - last friendly games (or friendly league)
Week 15 - Friday - players get older and their wages are updated
Week 0 - Sunday - free time
Week 0 - Monday - after season payments (supporter renewal and sponsor bonus)
Week 0 - Wednesday - first round of national cup games
Week 1 - Sunday - first league games.
The only thing you can train during off season, I think, is Stamina... because your whole team receives Stamina training whether they play or not, and as there are no games in the off season period, no one will be playing!
I know it sounds obvious but its amazing how many people look over this!

Warning: Newbie giving advice...
I don't think the stamina thing is strictly accurate, since you get a friendly in week15 and Cup round 1 (if you're in it) in week 0. My understanding is that if you train anything except stamina you can (usually) only train half the number of players (i.e. those who played), which is why most people swap.

I just double checked, and yes - I trained tech for MIDS during the last off season, and the 5 MIDS who played in each week got trained OK.

Should I change over to Stamina training after the training has been updated this Thursday - & then change back to pace on the Friday before the start of the new season?.
I want my players to have stamina training, but I don't want to lose any weeks of pace training for my full 22 players.
