How much help do Asst Coaches give to the Head Coach?.

I read the rules & it is very vague.

I have an excellent Asst Coach, but I am wondering if he is worth keeping.

i think assist coaches give you randoms

They do give you more randoms, but how many i don't think anybody knows as not enough research has been done on it.

how much does your assistant cost?
if you can get 3 solids for around 1750 - 2000 each then i think that is a good level of investment for a div IV side. I use that set up with a HC who has 5 unearthly skills and 1 brilliant, and find i get a decent amount of randoms. of course, age and talent of squad play a big part in randoms too.

Charles Donald, age: 67,

Training effectiveness:
formidable of stamina, solid of keeper
incredible of pace, incredible of defender
very good of technique, average of playmaker
formidable of passing, formidable of striker

if he is your only assistant i would replace him with at least 2xSolid. Think of it as levels of coaching skill... Excellent = 10 / Solid x 2 = 16... its probably not that simple, but you get the idea. You could probably get 3xSolid for a total wage only 1k more than you spend on this guy

could even get 3x v good for not much cost.

If I use the Coach Recruitment tool to find a MAGICAL coach... how likely will i be to find one?

Plus, how often will he have a very low wage? (for a magical coach i mean...)
2008-05-17 18:51:38
the last time I tried I spent about 180k before I got the one I wanted.
2008-05-17 18:56:47
was it worth the cash?
2008-05-17 18:57:46
180k you got lucky!!!!

Have spent 250k before and then gave up due to lack of funds. lol

paying dividends so far as I now have 2 magicals, but it costs quite a bit and I currently make a loss most weeks. Not recommended unless you have great faith in your training scheme.
2008-05-17 19:20:45
not sure if I have great faith as it were...

However, I DO have great faith in my finances... I plan to get the best youth coach I can for the best wage possible... now from my experience, anything under 25k p/w is pretty good for a Magical coach, and financially I can just about swing that.

I hope what I have said makes sense! If so, is it recommendable tht I do this?

If so, basicly what I need to know is, Is it likely that I finds a magical coach under the price of 25k p/w using the Coach Recruitment method?

I dont wanna waste like 200k or something if its not gonna work...

Thanks for ur help btw :) appreciated

I really can't say either way, the coach recruitment method is very unpredictable, very hard to plan financially for.

bit of a gamble really from what I have seen of it... Nah, decided against it. Not really worth the risk I dont think
