Subject: tactics

i've created my own custom tactic but when i set to use it on the match orders the tactic viewer shows a completly different formation.

can anyone explain this to me? thanks.

The tactics viewers shows the average position of your players when the ball is averaged acros all locations on the pitch. i.e. the average position of your player assuming game is equally spread across all locations.

The main tactics editor starts showing the position of your players when the ball is in the centre of the pitch.

These can be different.

And as a quick aside, when you made your own tactics, you did move the ball around I hope? ;)

i did not move the ball around but thanks for the tip!

move it, or you're only setting the tactics for kickoff and when the ball is in the central area!

A bit of work initially, but worth the time. Once you've made the tactics, you can copy and tinker..
