astonp [del] to All
i have 4 coaches atm
1 is excellent 1 brilliant 1 solid and 1 v.good

i fired one of my better coaches and he went to the no assignment bit and i got charged in the financial update and he's still there. does he go soon? or should i put him back onto my main team coaching?

If you don't want him then you should click on his name and then sack him....if you do want him then assign him now.

Are you sure you can afford a Brilliant Coach in IV?
2008-06-21 21:12:58
no thats why i tried to fire him :\ but he's still there and draining me
2008-06-21 21:13:32
Click on his name and then sack him then. ;)
2008-06-21 21:24:55
yeah just realised that :@
bit misleading to newbies with the sack button under them, thought that would do it but hey ho, sorted now cheers

1 last thing

ive now got an excellent and a solid coach
which 1 should i have on the junior and which on senior?
2008-06-21 21:49:05
you need your excellent for the junior school, and the solid depends on if he has the right skill distribution for a head coach. post him here and we'll take a look.

Sunderland is only good as a head coach if you are training striker. and he is too expensive as an assistant.
Puddy is a good assistant coach.

To train defender as you mentioned in another thread you need Unearthly defender skill. As a new team you can only afford 1 unearthly skill then use skills select coach recruitment... set Defender to Magical and everything else to hopeless. you should get the coach you need first or second go. check out the average coaches wage thread (you can get there from DJs tips thread) to make sure you don't pay too much.

if you think you can afford extra high skills (for general pops) then for defenders i would look for pace, and then passing
2008-06-21 21:59:43
woah you are paying way too much for him. with your income you will not be able to afford him. the high keeper skill adds a huge ammount. sack him. you can pick up an excellent youth coach on the transfer market for less than half that
2008-06-21 22:00:39
right think i get you thanks
2008-06-21 22:04:12
he's now my main coach for the def

Larry Spoon, age: 62
wage: 3 765 £
club: almighty warriors, country: England
average coach

Training effectiveness:
hopeless of stamina poor of keeper
solid of pace unearthly of defender
adequate of technique weak of playmaker
unsatisfactory of passing hopeless of striker
2008-06-21 22:08:01
great. just what you need
2008-06-21 22:09:06
:D gooood.
now for the junior, what should i be searching for?
2008-06-21 23:31:26
Something between "solid" and "excellent" but nothing higher...again, check the "HINTS & TIPS" thread to see how much you should be being in wages for each coach.
