ramer [del] to All
no one is answering on the other forum so i guess i will try here:

why does stamina train everyone and the other types of training just train the people who play?
does that not then mean that the team do not have daily training sessions on the training ground like REAL teams do? this annoys me. it is not only the matches which make a player better, its more likely that training sessions make the player. (excluding training of experience i guess). do players get better not participating in matches? because the youths do.

not sure what answer you want...

it seems you are frustrated with the game engine. not everything on here imitates real life. i believe the game engine works this way for training to ensure managers have to balance training with their team's performance. if players earned training without playing, then managers would be able to buy pure trainees outside of their main 22. big clubs would have a league side, a cup side, and 10 trainees. players do not recieve even general training unless they play in a match. stamina is an exception in lots of ways - most players will straight-pop, age & talent do not play a big role, no match required... i believe this is to compensate for it being such a rubbish skill to have to train; as it is it fits nicely into the closed season.

it is as it is - this is not real life. you can always post your views on the ideas forum.

What he said.

If I could get players trained while not playing I'd have 99 players. I'd have enough money to cover the purchases and wages.
Smaller teams wouldn't be able to afford it and get next to nothing for the players they want to sell due to a flooded market.

It is just the very logical game rules. I think most of the game rules within Sokker are the very best I play on-line. Clearly, they are put in place to make the game as enjoyable for the majority of Managers & to keep the game as competitive & as much fun as it can be.

I see no problem with the current set up of training within Sokker, in fact I think it is the best on-line football game that I play.

I really do believe Sokker could rival HT in the future

sokker kicks HT's butt! please god, don;t let us turn into HT
;^)

I am very sure Sokker is now way ahead of HT in just good & honest fun & game play. That will win over loads of new players, & in the future make Sokker an ever bigger & better game on-line.

Good luck to Sokker for the future

yes. thanks for your comments. i have to concede defeat. my rant is unjust.
and yes. Sokker is miles ahead of HT in terms of realism imo.
sorry for ranting. i shall keep it to a minimum next time.
i agree with the whole 99 players thingy. if things were to go like i suggested than the whole game would need changing, from the amount of games per season to changes in 'talent'. that would mean that the game would become like FM 2008, which is unfeasible online really.
thanks guys

i didnt mean that to sound sarcastic btw

haha no worries... we all like to rant sometimes, especially when we have a bad week. it helps to know that usually when you have a bad week it means wpd74, forestman, or gibbage have been abusing their mod buttons (instead of themselves for a change)

then, do players not involved in matches recieve any training at all? and do random pops happen to players not involved in matches also?
2008-06-28 15:37:25
no & no. only stamina

edit: maybe general stamina training on all players all the time?
(edited)

Stamina is always trained.

They get general stamina training even if they don't play.
2008-06-28 16:27:03
that is what i suspected
