Does having seats & benches etc attract better crowds attending home matches?.

I have always calculated the costs of increasing my stadium, against the current home support we have. But if specific improvements automatically increases attendances by xxx%, then I could look at it in a more positive way.

Is there a calculation of increased home support for better facilities?

There's no calculation, but certain supporters will only turn up if certain seating types are available(ones that like terraces will move up to benches if there aren't any terraces, but not the other way round).

So having seats under a roof will boost attendance, and bring in higher gate reciepts per person that turns up.

but at NFC's level would be way to expensive. no roofs for the bottom divisions unless you have been bought out by Ecclestone

No, but getting benches and not terraces, or seats instead of benches may just about be realistic.

Personally, i would never recommend on buying terraces or benches really. When you can afford to upgrade, just buy as many seats as possible, it will save an upgrade later.

I feel 90% sure - I read somewhere seats on sides & ..........? at ends.

Benches behind the goal, sure. That's because of pricing. For future planning i see no reason to build benches in the first place.
