Subject: Juniors

I don't know much about good juniors, but will any of these guys come in handy in the future? And which should I sack, if not all of them?

Will Tapp average 10 Reject

Dustin Lean poor 15 Reject

Lane Wheelton poor 28 Reject

Dan Eames average 34 Reject

Eames could be very nice if talent, Wheelton might be worth keeping 4 wk or less talent.

For me, it would depend on how long they have been in your school. Have you just opened it? I would ditch the poor 15 and keep the rest for the time being. The poor 15 will be at least 17, and probably not very good.

Tapp's been in a week already, the others have all come in earlier today.

Yep, then i'd ditch Lean and keep the rest until you know talent.

Wheelton went to Weak today, Tapp to Adequate. I'm taking it that's good?

It's a start, but it's this next pop you really want to take note of. You have to remember that players can enter the school at say average but be very close to a pop to adequate. You need two full pops to get an idea of how talented they are. Don't forget to take note of how many weeks the second pop takes

What kind of thing is a good pop time then? 7 weeks like on Battrick, less, more?

And baring in mind I'm a team in IV, I have an excellent and about 4 very goods, so pretty much anyone would walk into my team. I'm guessing an Adequate junior will have skills averaging at Adequate?

only the junior coach counts towards the junior pops - how good is he?

If excellent then 7 is mediocre, 6 is reasonable, 5 nice, 4 remarkable

if you got an incredible one day then 7 is rubbish, so is 6, 5 is passable - 3 is top notch.

an adequate junior could have a skill higher than adequate but the rest would be rubbish in that case. He is most likely a selection of poor/weak.

I would say that if they are due to graduate with less than solid don't bother unless they might be 16 and you fancy a gamble

When I said an excellent/4 very goods, I meant players, not coaches. :P

well those will certainly be worth keeping then

with an outstanding coach I wouldn't bother training them myself unless they popped every 5 weeks max although you can certainly make money selling slower poppers to other people if they get high enough

So if Eames has about 4 week pop time, he could end up being awesome?

If he has about 4 week pop time, he will almost certainly be awesome!
