dylanos [del] to All
From the rules:

Training of passing

Passing is most effectively trained by the midfielders (MID), the remaining positions train slower. If you want to enhance training effect for other positions, you can do so. However, it will result in decreasing the training effectiveness for the midfielders.

How do people interpret this?

Not easily. Without even training passing, i'm going to let someone else have a go.

I've been training PM, which according to the rules is the same gig as passing...The training of playmaking is similar to that of passing...

I've been interpreting it as meaning for a player of any given talent, he'll pop faster in passing/PM if his positional orders are set to MID and you train the MID position in tech. The other positions will get some training, but less than those players with MID orders.

You could change the positional orders for training to DEF or ATT. Which would improve how quickly a player playing with these orders popped, but the pops wouldn't be as fast as for the same player playing with MID orders whilst the MID position was being trained.

Clear as mud I think...

If you train mids they will get full training and the rest get random pops

If you train DEF then DEF and MIDS both get half training

So you're saying you can effectively train 20 players at half speed in passing or PM (if you set 5xDEF & 5xMID).
Has someone tested this to prove it? Because if it's the case it will really help me out.

apparently

mr_gibbage is the only person I know to have tried it

If you'd said anyone but mr_gibbage I'd have accepted it at face value, but this could all be a ruse to stifle everyone else's traning so they never catch him... ;)
