fujor [del] to All
so i've tried my hardest to turn a profit for a while now, i gutted out my club of everything and still i was losing money in the long term.

so now i say screw it! all i want is for someone to clear something up for me. when in debt can you still carry on regardless without any financial penalty as long as you avoid the dreaded bankruptcy limit.

im planning to make it up on the end of season pay out and hopefully start next season in a higher league.

Yes you can, as long as you dont go over the limit.

brilliant, thanks for the reply

You can continue but obviously you are charged interest on your o/d limit. ;)

you could always follow suit on Hungary, Ukraine, and Iceland, and request assistance from the IMF

I've never been in debt in this game and have rarely made a profit over a fortnight. I have to sell some players every now and then to improve and balance the books.

The key is to never be competitive. I'm an expert at that.

but i want to be none competitive in division 3!

i'll be selling players once my youths come through depending on skill levels.

I just don't think the weekly income and gate receipts are ever good enough for the players you'll need.

I may make a profit over a fortnight next season.

To subsidise most of my fortnightjy debt in my first 3 seasons i spent a lot of time arranging away friendlies with teams in higher leagues with seated stadiums. I can't stress enough the importance of doing this and i was thankful that i was accepted so often. I notice you are in a friendly league and with your small stadium this really doesn't help

Fujor,

It is hard, but you should be able to near break even, and then make the odd transfer sale to keep yourself ticking along. Therefore you may have an unforeseen problem.

I'm happy to help, if useful.

Post me your financial status, and I'll have a look.
Also put the coaches skills & wages down and I'll comment
