Subject: Red card in league match

How come that my midfielder got a red card in a league match and now I can use him in next league game?? I do not see any red card next to his name...

he served his match ban in cup game

I think if a player is red carded in the league they can still play in the cup, am I right?

no he can't play in the cup if carded in the league, but he'll be available for the league again
