T-Man [del] to All
i have around 140k to spend on players. I lost 11-0 on my last match so wat position of players should i aim for?

you need to buy youngsters and start a proper training regime - that's the only way to get better.

Are you training anything now?

at the very least you need to play friendlies and use them to double your training opportunities

ok i have an oustanding coach and i am training striker for att
is tht ok or should i work on my defenders?

there's nothing wrong with training strikers - do what you find interesting

to help get the most of your training I suggest the following

1 - you can give 3 players the ATT order
2 - If you train 3 more in the friendly you can train 6 - trebling your training!
3 - Remember strikers need tech, pace and striker to be really good

I recommend you go buy 4 young (under 20) players with some pace and tech and join a friendly league and train all 6 for a bit in striker

For head coach only the specific skill matters. This guy is on the trainer transfer market (currently £600) - cheaper wage and better training.

hopeless of stamina hopeless of keeping
tragic of pace hopeless of defending
average of technique poor of playmaking
hopeless of passing unearthly of striker

personally I recommend getting the maximum 3 assistants. I think 3 solids are better than 1 outstanding (it is the overall skill that counts for assistants) and the wages are lower. You could save several thousand a week with 3 lower skill assts

I prefer keepers with pace

although he'll obviously stop a few shots
2009-02-22 21:07:50

2009-02-22 21:11:00
he'll be expensive

pace is good for all players because otherwise they move slowly

read robnobs newbie guide is this forum

all players need more than 1 skill
2009-02-22 22:54:42
I like putting early bids on my players :-)
2009-02-23 12:18:45
I dont think its a wise move to bid for this outstanding keeper. Tell you frankly you will do fine with a solid keeper in Division IV. Excellent is more than good enough.
