Subject: new Juniors

I received 6 juniors into my academy today and they look like this:
Ricardo Varela unsatisfactory 7
Luis Gaytan average 12
Jordi Carreón good 14
Esteban Mascareño poor 16
Leonel Ordiales hopeless 25
Justo Bolaños tragic 26
In order to get new ones next week, do I have to up my number of places to 12, or is 6 the maximum? If 6 is the maximum, is it worth rejecting some of these? If so, how many would people suggest rejecting?

Keep always (if finance lets to) 6 slots open, because that`s the maximum number junior you can get one week. So if now you have 6 places filled, then increase it to 12. BUT some of the juniors you get today aren´t worth of keeping.
Fire the next ones:
Varela, Mascareno, Ordiales and Bolanos.
They are too weak. So now you have 2 juniors left, therefore increase your school to 8 slots.

Thanks for the help, that is exactly what I needed to know :-)
The maximun number of youths allowed in your youth school is 30 at any one time. If finances allow, you could have 30 youths training, however it does cost quite a bit to manage 30 youths (£18k per week).
Make sure you do not exceed the 6 slots available per week as you will pay for every slot opened. I.E if you have 2 juniors in your school at present (then as the last post says) increase the open slots to 8. If you open it up to 10 this week then you will lose £1,200 as you cannot get more than 6 juniors join per week on a Saturday morning.
It's entirely up to you on how you manage your youth school, theoretically you could just have the 2 players you currently have in the youth school and train them however, talent is an unknown quantity in this game. The youth school system is a long term plan for your future, in time you will reap the benefits.
When I first started I didnt read the rules properly and opened up the school with 30 places available, took me a few weeks to realise what was happening ;-).
Many other users are only a question away from helping you out, feel free to ask, its important.
Good luck.
