Hi,
I am wondering I should expand my stadium further. I am selling out due to doing well in my league. If I should can you guys recommend where and what I should build?
Thanks in advance.

£13k for III is OK. If you must then get more seats on the side, say another £5k. Don't put them in the corners though!
Thank you Jimmy.. So I should not invest currently. The reason why I am asking is because other teams in Div III seem to have bigger seating capacities.
i top my league and fill out 25000 seats every game
Dylan is successful in that division with a good fan base so that's a good indicator of how far it can stretch. It all depends on individual circumstance though; if i were you and sold a youth for £3m say then i'd spend a large chunk on that improving your stadia so in seasons to come you can concentrate on your team.
Basically remember trainees come first :-)

agree with DJ mostly, also i would only use e.o. season bonuses to expand and NEVER go in to debt to do so
I think that what we are all looking for in this topic is a guide to stadium expansion...I played this game for a while and now I started all over again. This is my opinion and please corect me if I am wrong:
When you start this game the stadium is too short too cover expences even if you can get it full every match. The coach's salary is the most expensive thing here and that should be supported by a steady income such as tickets.
At the begining you wont make a profit out of your fans and sponsors alone (if you invest in good coaches) so do some magic on the transfer market.
Once your stadium is sold out and you have grown your fanclub you need to expand the stadium just to cover weekly expences. People say on this tread that seats with roof bla bla bla... yes they are a dream but also gets you into debt at this phase.
Your stadium has 2000 benches and 500 teraces at the begining. If you transform the teraces into seats you will see one cost...if you build them on the standing area you will see an added cost for the asembly of teraces...therefore a step forward to get the seats will be just to build some teraces...just enough to get you from loosing money to a bit of weekly profit (paying wage for the good coach)...after a while if you have the money you can upgrade to seats or benches...take it step by step and increase your profit. I think there is also somewhere that says that not all supporters like seats...some like benches and so on...so untill you get in that 1 league ...build step by step and the first step is teraces...plan ahead and think about how many seats you would like to have there before you build. Calculate the income on a sold stadium and check your expences when you plan.
Hope this helped and excuse my spelling errors. (I am foregn)

and I would add the following: when you decide to invest in your stadium, don't make 1000 seats (any kind of seats), I mean don't expand the stadium from 3000 places to 4000 or 5000 or 6000. save some money and invest strongly.
I think I expanded my stadium twice: once from 3100 to 12 000 and last time from 12k to current size...
this is my opinion, though.

Yep, there is some good advice in that post but personally i would go for fewer, larger investments. You have to remember the cost for expanding each time. Also, i would always advising building seats - maybe a portion of benches if you must - but certainly no terraces. The stadium is a very long term investment and terraces are just a short term fix which you will pay for later.
To add, i think one of the reasons a stadium guide hasn't been written is because there is such a differing opinion on the right and wrongs.

it is also important to remember that it takes nearly 2 seasons of filling a seat to pay for it. therefore in the early days you are better off banking the money.
" but certainly no terraces."?????????? My advice was that sooner or later you would pay for the terraces as well ...so if you want to build 4000 seats the costs would be
Value of construction on the eastern stand in the stadium
Project Execution : 15 000 £
Expansion of terraces to 4 000 Places: 72 000 £
Assembly of 4 000 seat fastenings : 60 000 £
Assembly of 4 000 Seats : 108 000 £
------------------------
Sum: 255 000 £
So if you start by building the terraces first ...you wont have to pay 255 000£ from the begining but you would increase the stadium size and also profit ...and after if you would upgrade to seats the costs would be:
Project Execution : 15 000 £
Assembly of 4 000 seat fastenings : 60 000 £
Assembly of 4 000 Seats : 108 000 £
------------------------
Sum: 183 000 £
Therefore no money lost except for the project execution money...It's like building the fundation and useing it to get the money to upgrade to seats...the more terraces you could fill the faster you would make the money for the upgrade ;)
So It's not bad to build terraces when you start up...just to cover the costs of running the team.

You have forgotten to show the prices for first upgrading your terraces.
One of the other reasons i said go for seats is that when you come to cover them, you won't have to convert 10000 terraces to seats too, costing a fortune.
