Subject: My biggest mistake / acheivement

biggest achievement promotion in my first full season. biggest mistake a defender i bought in the first 2 weeks for £40k and sold for about half that. many more mistakes and maybe the odd achievement yet to come...

Biggest Achievement : Finally getting out of div 4 after three seasons of gold and silver.

Biggest Mistake : The stadium upgrades. Wrong, wrong and WRONG!
(thats seats in the corners, benches on the sides and terraces behind the goal)

I cringe every time I look at it.

If it makes you feel any better, 9 / 10ths of my stadium upgrades have been wrong too :)

So for fellow newbies what is the key to a good stadium upgrade????

Then you want to have 1 construction!

That construction MUST be along the line!

You can choose seats/benches depending on your preference/financial position!

Stand along line behind goal
Standing places 1.20 £ 1.20 £
Standing places under roof 1.20 £ 1.20 £
Terraces 2.40 £ 2.40 £
Terraces under roof 3.00 £ 3.00 £
Benches 3.75 £ 3.75 £
Benches under roof 4.50 £ 3.75 £
Seats 4.50 £ 3.75 £
Seats under roof 5.25 £ 4.50 £

For a new manager who has playing for a while and fills it out, would you say seats along the line or benches?

I went for 4k seats along the line in my first stadium upgrade, my next one would probably have to be to adjust the original stand to seats or would that be wrong?

Biggest achievement: 43 games unbeaten, second only to the Gibster.

Biggest mistake: trying to grow too quickly because of above and nearly going bankrupt. It has taken 2-3 season to recover.

I'd go with seats, they bring in more money.
