My biggest mistake:

The last 2 posts!

the mind boggles.

Biggest Achievement: The first winner of the double of Premiership & FA Cup, and last team to beat gibbage in the league.

Biggest Failure: Losing my position as best team in England due to an inability to adjust to the changes in the game engine, and failure to plan long term.

My biggest mistake was have 2 good coaches when I started as as youth and main coach. Along with 3 average helpers. Also I trained pace for a year with a coach who was only solid in it. Make sure when starting off to have 2 very good to excellent coaches with low wages and elave it at that. Well plus a coach unearthly in the skill you are training as your main coach.

My biggest achievement was seeing the skill of my players rather than just sacking them all and buying what I thoguht was better ones. I discovered a few great players in my team includign a winger capable of 40 ratings and a striker capable of almost 40 ratings..

my biggest mistake, was not starting my junior school sooner, still have to wait till next season to see any good ones,

acheivements, to get where i am today, last season was a shock to me,to finish 2nd in a new league.....

Not starting your junior school sooner?

I havent started my junior school yet, and as far as I'm concerned, it saves a hell of a lot of money, which i buy new 'younger' players with. Seems to work out cheaper... Is this method not recommended?

all my current best trainies have come through my youth school as well as 3 players who I have sold for a combined 5.5mil

Aye, what you have to remember with the junior school is that you know the talent of the players that you pull.

If you try and buy other trainees on the cheap you have to get lucky with the talent or pay for it.

mind you, it's a gamble.

My junior school does not pay for itself. It has not delivered a great player for 5 seasons now. I'm getting very impatient as I have a blooming good coach training fools....

I spend a fortune on my youth school and general coaching set up and I reckon I make even more of a fortune back, despite not having pulled any one great for a while.
Most of my first team came from the youth school, so the quality has been reasonable.

It's almost pointless having a decent youth school without plus if you're looking to sell.

Not being able to prove a players talent affects transfer value.

My biggest mistake is:
Training.
I should have trained forwards/midfield when I was in a lower league instead of defenders.
It costs to buy them and training them effectively in a higher league leaves your team wanting.

Achievement
Nothing
I'll be cannon fodder once the younger teams in lower leagues have a few more seasons under their belts.
