I would wait 5-6 weeks max. If he pop in that time he's got talent, so if you have some money by then you could upgrade your junior coach to a better one and he might pop more often.
This is my opinion, you can wait more with an excellent coach if he pop after 7 weeks he is still talented.

Even excellent is more than I can afford at the moment, I'm needing quite a bit of ticket revenue just to keep from bleeding too profusely. I expect I'll finish the season without going TOO far into the red, and by then I hope I can cash in on a prospect or two.
