When I have a player playing ATT and I train MID he still get a training and it is called general training right?

Yes. The general training is influenced by what you are training and the skills of your main coach.

Ie., if you train tech to your MIDs, your DEFs and ATTs will also get a small dose of tech. All players who played will get small additions to their other skills based on your main coach's skill distribution.

Personally I really like having high stamina skill on my main coach. The little stamina improvements through general training have meant I haven't had to train stamina for several seasons. Since I train a mixture of pace, tech and striker my main coach is also unearthly in those skills, so that when I'm not training a specific skill my trainees are getting the biggest dose of general possible.

I'm trying something new the second half of this season - I have 1 extra trainee, so I'm rotating 5 guys through 4 training spots. The week they don't get training they will still play and get general. I figure it won't slow them down too much. Guess we'll see. :)

Because I train MID I try to have a coach with all the skills as high as possible (except GK)

This are they

magical of stamina outstanding of keeper
brilliant of pace unearthly of defender
unearthly of technique magical of playmaker
unearthly of passing incredible of striker

unearthly of stamina excellent of keeper
incredible of pace formidable of defender
unearthly of technique magical of playmaker
unearthly of passing magical of striker

unearthly of stamina excellent of keeper
unearthly of pace unearthly of defender
unearthly of technique incredible of playmaker
brilliant of passing magical of striker

magical of stamina outstanding of keeper
magical of pace brilliant of defender
unearthly of technique unearthly of playmaker
magical of passing magical of striker

One is the coach 2 are assistants ant the other is the youth academy coach (I have another assistant but only outstanding)
I do see a lot of random pops this way (and I pay a lot in salaries)

How much is that small dose? 1/2, 1/3, 1/4??

Good question. :) I can only guess (based on how long it's taken non-trained players to make 2 pops in a skill). 1/4 seems to much. 10-15% would be my best estimate.

I would say around 15% too
