Lovely [del] to All
So, I'm looking at what I'm going to do with my "mad money". Should I:

1. Buy some talented trainable youth?
2. Upgrade my junior coach? (Currently excellent.)
3. Upgrade my assistant coaches? (Currently average, average and very good.)
4. Do something else I haven't thought of yet?

Edit: Upgrading my average coaches is cheaper than I thought, so they are now good, good and very good (-:

Looking at your squad you have a very young team and almost all are treinable so I wouldn't go with option one. I don't know your main coach maybe you should think about upgrading him and assistants too.

My main coach is weak overall and unearthly in pace, which I intend to continue training for another season at least; I'm not considering changing him at the moment.

As for trainable youngsters, sure, I stocked up on a bunch of $2 16- and 17-year-olds, so it's no big deal if I have to re-sell one of them (or sack him) after putting down a little extra cash for somebody extra-special. This is rather what I'm leaning toward at this point, but part of me wants to improve my youth coach (to say outstanding or incredible if I can afford it).

how much can we expect for the 'mad money'? (I assume its that extra little gift at the end of a season)

If memory serves I got about 150 000 C$ last season.

so 3 weeks of a good coach, haha... i only have a VG junior coach, is that really bad or pretty much the same as excellent.

Very good is only one notch below excellent. It's not worth spending a huge amount of money to go up just one notch or so (at least not until you have a magical coach and want to go up to unearthly (-:), I'd save up for a bit and wait until you can afford at least two notches (to formidable or better), the more the better of course.

youth coach is a good idea....mind you a talented trainee would be super too.....maybe you could do both?

Well, I got more than I expected for Belanger, so I might be able to do just that!

I just cant wait for my Youth camp to surge. i have 4 goods and 3 adequate, but one adequate is in 2 weeks form now (entered camp with 3 weeks remaining so decided to keep), and have 5 guys within 6 weeks that are adequate and good coming up in a couple months.

I hope they have good talent because you wont get much for a good or an adequate juniors...
