if I choose to train stamina, but also want to train my GK. i set my training stamina for the official match, and switch to keeper on the GK position for my friendly match will that negate the stamina training on my other guys? or if so, and i take out those guys out from the friendly will they still receive the stamina training?

If you set your training to keeper then only the keeper will get training (in keeper skill of course). If you set your training to stamina then the whole team gets training regardless if they played or not....I would strongly suggest you train stamina :)). It doesn't matter what you set for training after the league game it is what counts when the training update comes along, which is wednesday night. So there is no double training (I whish there was)....

so what you have set on sunday as your training going into your league game will also be what you are training on your wednesday regardless of what yo may change it to? bummer...
oh, and btw... im almost done my stamina training (unless i get these 2 guys im bidding on, 'cuz my playmakers are both getting older. but their stamina isn't good so ill train their stamina up if i get em (to average or adequate i guess), which will put most of my other players to excellent and formidable, but i need to know how long i can go without signing this coach i have won the bid on on the transfer list... i want him for my pace training.
The other way around...what you have set for training after your friendly match, will be what the players get trained on wednesday and sunday. Training update is roughly between 11pm and 1am on wednesday night. Ontario time that is. So you can shuffle your training millions of times during the week, but it is what you set during the training update what only counts.....get it?
I believe it is 48 hours....not too sure about that
yeah, i had a feeling it was like that... i got this sick goalie, hes 22 years old with VG passing and pace but only good keeper, i figured if i trained him for a couple weeks i could pop him to solid, or just spend a few more weeks into the season and get him to VG or excellent. but then my team wouldn't finish their stmaina training (almost done) and their pace training would have ot start at like... weeks 6 or 8
It is not absolutely necessary for your whole team to have formidable stamina, everyone has players in their team who have not so good stamina, hell I got a player in my A team who is only "weak" at stamina. So if not many players in your team will benefit from stamina training maybe it would be better for you if you train your goalie in the offseason.....
well, heres the breakdown:
Poor - l
Weak - l
Average -
Adequate - ll
Good - llll
Solid - lll
VG - l
Excellent - lll
Formidable - ll
a tally of my guys stamina, but the 2 formidable and 2 of the excellent guys are currently on my bench -__-' so yeah i wanna get my guys up a bit, my AM/3rd striker (depending on my formations) is my other excellent, but as you can see the bulk of my guys on the first string are good or solid. my GK if he pops would be beneficial, getting his keeper up a bit, i really like him in net, so i dont quite want to sell him...

btw, how long can i keep a coach i've bid on until i cant sign him to a contract anymore (i assume hes not on my salary without signing a contract, ive just won the bid for him. he's got unearthly pace and brilliant tech and then everything else sucks, his wage is 14,440 and hes a solid coach.

Any coaches that have not been assigned a role will continue to receive their salaries (even if they are doing nothing!)
but i havent signed him to a contract yet, i have only won the auction. i found the answer, the answer is 1 week after the auction ends.
