Hi all,

I see a few older coaches in the transfer market, some have exceeded a hundred years old. Is the age a problem when you buy a coach, should I avoid them ? or is it ok to buy ?

thx.

Hi TedTapioca,

Nope. They never retire, or die either... Lol.

I think it's something that might change in the future but the devs are making a lot of changes currently so probably not soon. Like the game is currently under going some major changes but just aesthetics for now.

For the current training system it is general skill for junior coach & assistant coaches and the skill to train for main coach that matters.

And welcome to sk!

Cheers,

devtopia

and since i was looking at your last league game, you need to play with at least 4 players in the defensive line, on the same line.
don't play with swipper (sometimes called libero), the strikers stay in the same line with your last defender and if there are 2-3 strikers against your libero, they will score a lot.

Ok. cool. I'll do that. Thx.
Is there any page/doc somewhere with training speed for trained characteristics ? I have been training PACE and ATT for a while but didnt see much improvement. Thx.

How to Play -> Training section
-good place to start usually is the manual itself

Threads are usually the next best place to look:

solli has a good thread in Newbie Canada forum on training for beginners (thread:
useful advices for who is starting)

Also you could search Sokker International forum... I think there might be a formula somewhere on there or just look at previous training threads.

But essentially it is that your coach's training skill is too low or your assistants' general skill are too low. It's hard because at the beginning your club doesn't have money. So you should try to build your stadium to get more income. But it takes time too.

You should eventually aim for unearthly training skill (striker, pace, etc) and as high as you can assistants general appraisal. Obviously buy what you can afford.

Also variables such as a player' s hidden talent. Some players pop with 2 weeks training and others with 3 or 4+ and it also depends on how many minutes they play per week and the type of match. So 90 minutes league is more important than 90 min friendly. But you can read in more detail in the forum. Just the more minutes the better including any national team minutes. So if you make substitutions for example both players involved will have less training.
