Subject: Questions thread

how many youths do you guys have?
just out of interest? im wondering how many to make it actually financially beneficial! i have it set at 16 atm with 14 there now and will be p to 20 in two weeks and that evens out my bank balance...
just wondering how many youths other teams have going at once? or how many you can have going...
i still have to get a worthwhile player out of the system like but i didnt have a good coach first of all and im only at it for about a season an a half now...

i have 20 and my coach is magical

I dont think it's worth it unless you've got an at least outstanding coach. I've 30 spaces, 26 are filled.

Im thinking about reducing my youth to five and keep only the juniors that will come out at least formadable coz the other are rubbish

You wont know how good they are unless they've been in your squad for at least 6 weeks. 5 spaces mean you'll miss out on any good new trainees.

Yeah but im getting sick of excellent or outstanding rubish juniors.....I have my Youth since i starte playing in sokker ( about 1.5years) and i only had 2 juniors that were worth kepping them

I think the more you get, the more likely you'll find someone decent. I never get rid of anyone over Excellent unless their talent is awful. My Good 16 year old sold for 750k a while back so it's all about luck.
Personally i think it's a waste to have a Magical coach and then not have enough players to make it worth it.

I've got 20 places in my junior school and an Incredible coachIt's been very worthwhile for me, I've had some great players come out of it and some of them are currently in my 1st team. I keep anyone coming it from weak upwards

I've got 15 places, and just hired a brilliant coach today

yep i got a brilliant coach too...
presonally i think its the way to go.. 750k from one youth is what u spend in a season on the system basically so if you can get one good player its worthwhile!

plus for the future of the NT i was concerned about also caus there needs to be good players coming through the ranks!
cheers. il stick to the 20 and a brill coach so :) till i hit the premier division ;)

@welchy...weak upwards a good starting skill so? or is there higher?
i had 2 new additions this week, both weak...

tactical discipline...
anyone care to give the lowdown on it?

my current asumption is that its how well a player sticks to the assigned position but all my players seem to do that anyways...

I dont think there is anymore to it than that.

for training keepers can you only train 1 player at once?

do they pop extra fast in skills as a result or anything? seems a bit pointless to me!
2008-07-20 18:37:42
The idea is you train 2. It's not a bad idea having a keeper trainee if you're already training pace as they get it anyway. Keepers are generally far easier to train because really as they only need 2 skills.

right, im running into financial difficulty :P
so was considering firing all 3 assistants.

what would be the consequences of not having assistants but a decent head coach?
will random pops start being negative?
2008-08-31 15:39:24
I dont think negative pops happen in players under 27 unless it's stamina. You can forget getting any other pops though. I'd try and avoid firing your assistants, they're the ones that get the best out of your head coach.
What kind of financial difficulty?
