yeah so i believe too if u look at top clubs in belgium paying salaries of 200k a week for players alone before coaches you got to wonder what theyre getting...
theres also a much more gradual curve there too though. only ~30k between the divisions. and even less in the big leagues.

My sponsors paid me €12883 this week - fans madly in love with the club.

ok thats inline with what i predicted so.
cool. thats grand. we're the highest earners so out of the first divisions. good to know :)

what determines a players ability to play a through ball? PM or passing?
i mean the question more as what influences him to play the through ball...
also does a striker need PM to be able to read it?

I think formations influence through balls more than anything else. Playing with a player 'in the hole' will tend to cut down on through balls for example as he gets in the way. Nin usually has good tactics for through balls where his midfield can pass left or right to another midfielder but the way is clear for a through ball to the striker.
Passing and playmaking are probably, as usual, equally important in this. Playmaking to see the pass needed and passing to make it. I have a theory that bad passers can work out as good through ball passers though as it's a good through ball if the pass 'misses' the striker and runs on. I have no evidence of theat being true though so don't take it too seriously.
Personally I don't think PM matters for players receiving the ball. I think it might influence the time taken to decide over a pass or a shot when they do receive it but that's usually not important when through on goal. The whole PM for strikers is a totally different can of worms that you'll get 10 different opinions on from 10 different managers :)

cool, so its PM to make the decision to do the through ball thats all i was wondering. i just saw a team there receltny. a mate was asking me about a new guy in his league and he got about 10 1 on 1's via through balls from a defensive mid and i couldnt figure out why his players did it the whole time :P
(it wasnt just bad passing caus there were so many like :) )
cheers for the input. maybe i shud look for a few players with PM so considering i dont have any hardly XD

Playmaking to decide the pass, passing to actually execute it. They're pretty much even but i'd go with passing out wide and playmaking inside.
i just realised but one of my guys, when tackling, didnt miss anything, but at the same time when he tackled he controlled the ball instead of just knocking it away like some players do... is that to do with technique? or is it that his defending level is much higher than attackers skills..?
is it jirka or who is the admin for the irish forums?

looks fairly ok from a general glance at it... id say defence is deep though... maybe if theyre slow thats for the ebst but i dont like deep lines... thats just me.. and i cant say too much considering im 5th in league :P
hehe it's my first season at first league.. about deep defence... skills defenders are low, so I need play like that :-/.
haha yeah :) i know what u mean..iv struggled so far in this division too... plus the thing about this division is everyone has one or two good strikers! iv been training defenders for 2 seasons now! theyre getting good but the rest of the team sux now :P
